Simon Katich is the key along with North. If Pakistani pace bowlers can remove these 2 very early than Kaneria will have a big part in removing the debutants and the rest of tail...

If Pakistan removes Katich & North early, Pakistan can hopefully bowl them out under 150... So all the Pakistan chances depends on pre-lunch session...

Those are some BIG ifs.

Let's hope we do get them for 150.

250 is almost gettable then - but would need a herculean effort from our batsmen. In particular, Umar Akmal and his brother need to step up and deliver.

i think they ruined pakistan's innings yesterday they were senior's and did not took that seriously:( hope they do better in 2nd innings.

This might sound ridiculous but am I the only one who thinks there's something weird with Umar and Kamran both getting run out (Asia Cup SL game) and now both getting LBW in similar fashion while coming in to bat in tough situations?

:moyo

I dont see any chance of PAkistan dismissing Aussies for 150 .....

They will make atleast 250-300

10.10am Morning everyone, and welcome to Cricinfo's coverage of the third day at Lord's. I'm Liam Brickhill, and together with Andrew McGlashan will be bringing you live commentary of today's play. It's a damp and drizzly morning at Lord's, although the rain seems to have stopped already and the covers are adjacent to - rather than on top of - the wicket.

Agreed that we expected more from them both. Kamran did get a good ball though it was by no means unplayable. Umar made a bad mistake.

Raining quite heavily here in NW7....

Lets hope this weather is not heading towards Lords...

IMMY69 - on the contrary. Rainy conditions should help our bowlers, no?

sure but do we want to see play or for there to be heavy delays due to rain??

Only rain can save us from defeat otherwise match might end today..........

Certainly, but it will help their bowlers more!

If all of you are quoting the timing from cricinfo, then 1045 is the start of Ireland Vs BD Game.

Just 20% chance for rain for the day, so I'm thinking we should be fine for the greater part

Salam everyone
Ideal scenario would be that we bowl them out for 150 And hope to. Chase something in the region of 250 -260

Afridi has to make sure that the spirit of the guys remains high all the time.If we don't get early wickets them we have to make sure that pressure is on and we don't give a
way easy boundaries and singles..
InshAllah,I am hopeful that we can pull this one off..:umarakmal

Valaikum Salaam. Inshallah we can!

from cricinfo

10.17am Just a quick reminder, Bangladesh are taking on Ireland at Stormont in Belfast today, with that game scheduled to start at 10.45am local time.

who cares??

Good Luck boys! As always, at the start of the day we are with you.

Bob Willis has just been out to inspect the wicket. It's still holding together nicely. There's an even covering of grass, with a tinge of green to it. Willis reckons it would be a fantastic batting wicket if the sun was out, but in the cloudy conditions, with the ball swinging, conditions are going to be tough out there. Shane Watson did particularly well in swinging conditions yesterday, and Brydon Coverdale had a few interesting things to say about his effort.

End of the unfinished over.

Lets hope :asif can wave his magic and get the ball do all the talking.

First real chance I got tonight to see the highlights of this match.

The ball has been hooping around something fierce.
