getting hit for one 4 when Hilfun has tried to slog afridi 10 times & has missed is not poor bowling! Are you even watching the match?

But bowling himself with a new ball is poor captaincy to say the least

Great pakistan bowling!!!!! They can't even trouble 10 and 11 WOW...
Boys get ready for summer spanking

Why is Punter chickening out...

He should declare by now, or does he rate Pakistani batting as extremely competitive & dangerous ???

the only way pakistan can win this match is one double centurion and a century

:))) :))) :))) :))) Hilfenhaus highest score. Pakistan just produced another batsman for AUS. :13:

From who?? They might be bat 22 players to get 400, Pakistan has not scored 400 in last 10 test

last time pakistan were in england, they had this problem, this time as well! the tail really has to be prepared to bowl at!

Beats me. 400 is more than enough to get 10 wickets. May be waiting for 450.

It was a long hop and his next ball went down legside for another two runs. Perhaps you missed that.

:six giving the bowlers full treatment now! Poor bowlers have bowled on all three days so far, must be really tired and effort has also been in vain cas of shoddy batting.

I just want the aussies to get pakistan out for 100 !, they cant even get a no 10 out, disgrace, bowling is matching up with batting as well now!!

its never over till the fat ladie sings, thats why we are going over 400! Anyone thought about that!

Afridi might as well open the battig and do what he wants, there really is no chance if you persist with the same tactic. farthat gives us no hope what soever.

Soemhow we got their top 6. I don't know why people have such short term memories.
But I wasn't talking about the top six, was I? The fact is we're struggling to get rid of their 10 and 11.

Yet we got the top 6. Conditions and pitch also plays a huge role.

I can hear Susan Boyle singing in the background at Lords.

Rest of the match should be used as practice, tell the debutants to play without any pressure.

doubt it. Pakistan will go for draw now.

Why would he want to declare he has 2 days to bowl out Pakistan

Well at least Pakistan tried, maybe this steak vs Australia is not meant to be broken?
What kind of attitude is that ? This is professional,full-time cricketers we are talking about. They get paid to perform not to turn up and try.Schoolkids try during their egg and spoon race !

The expectation is to perform, attitude and effort should be a given !

Pakistan batters should just go for it and treat it like a one day match, they are going to loose anyway

We've still to bat, don't give up. It looks pretty easy out there, just see off the new ball and lose no more than 2-3 wkts today.

It doesn't matter if its easy. It was very important to not let these tailenders score these many runs as any anything above 350 would mean immense mental pressure on our batsmen. Regardless of the pitch being flat or not.

But alas, typical of us, we have just let the tail wag with some tooth less bowling. Although its obvious that our bowlers could not have done much more given how they had to bowl so many overs in so less time.
Our batting is the main culprit for every harm. Our loss(if that happens, hopefully not), bowlers being tired and not being 100% ready for the next match.

From cricinfo
"Why the second session never ends?" asks Lubo from Slovakia (allegedly). "I am loosing spred bet where I sold second session runs at 90 runs. What are the rules for when tee break should be taken?"

Punter Declare you ****!n coward!

Think about it, he respects what Pakistan could do with the bat!

Besides putting the preasure on Pakistan to get runs quick! :)

I have great respect for your posts but you lost me with this one.

There was a thread a while back called; 'Asif the thinking bowler' and I stated my point he wasnt a thinking bowler, but as usual all hell broke loose. Well if he cant even clean up tailenders like Hillfenhaus and Bollinger I stand vindicated...

Don't ask me. Ask the team which has let this streak grow!!

Hilfenhaus looking at getting a 50!

This is getting to the point of being pathetic from Pakistan.

New ball and Afridi is bowling himself?

Pakistan is demoralized completly. even if they get the wicket in this session, I don't see this match going in to tomorrow.

Yet he manges to get some of the top rated batsmen out but some choose to judge him based on his perfromance against the tailenders.....
