I honestly can't believe you're defending the way he was dismissed, in a test match. This part timer already took 3 wickets, why attempt a slog when you were almost out the ball before anyway. If he wanted to take at least 10 balls to get his eye in more there might be something to defend.

If that is the case he should not be in the test team his in the team as a front line batsmen and and this kind of cricket is not acceptable in test matches. If he wants to bat like this he should drop kaneria and bat at 11 then he can do whatever he wants!

Afridi should watch him, get yourself in then pick the right balls to hit for 6.
 
North to Kamran Akmal, :six, Kamran comes down the track and smashes North straight back over his head for six. A really good strike, that sailed well over the boundary

kamran looking like he's batting good.

May be worth making him just a batsman for tests. We could boost him up the order which would probably improve our chances of making a big score even with one less batsman. If he were to concentrate on his batting, I think he'd improve his average too.
 
PPL saying that they hate this team. so do you know tht its the best chase so far in recent 15 or 15 matches. Pakistan even not went 250.. in last 15 matches

Kamran like to keep..and we do not have a better keeper in Pakistani than him..

Come on this is a joke Watson took 5 and now north took 4 so far this is like the part time show going on we should of let salman butt bowl maybe he would of took a 5 wicket haul as well you call this batting completley brooke without younis khan and mohammad yousaf azar ali is a decent batsman just needs a little work.

People are making sound that Younis Khan is Tendulkar or what.. younis has not a good record agains these Aussis infact no batsman has in our team than salman butt.
 
Seriously, looking at these two bat, one feels that we could definitely had put up a brave fight had it not been for ....... :(

The problem in this match has been the performances of the experience / more senior players or the way they gifted their wickets.

The two debutant need to be persisted with at this point.

We need to work with what we have and not think about what we 'could have had'.

...Umer Akmal seriously 'the most talented batsman since 15' yrs should have done better, surely no one was hoping on afirid or farhat to play the rest did well.

Pakistan need to rethink afridi as a batsmen or a bowler not good enough in test cricket we need genuine batsmen in his batting position pakistan might have to drop keneria to have a genuine batsmen at afridi batting spot we cannot drop any pace bowlers so afridi has to do the spinners role i am pleased with two newcomers they have performed better than some experience player,s which is positive for pakistan cricket we need to give these guys proper chance we are a in rebuilding process losing to australia if we do go on to lose unless a miracle is no disgrace
 
Why cant we beat them man why its just heart breaking to watch as fans every test we get our ass kicked this is becoming a joke seriously in new zealand and sri lanka cant we win for once i think they fear australia but australia isnt what is use to be so take advantage of that man
 
I think the debut batsman played well..only problem with this team is Imran farhat.. Afridi is afridi he will play like this.
