But in all seriousness Pakistan has bowled superbly from the first ball today. Hats off to our bowlers and fielders

Pakistan Cricket is on the rise. In ODI we have three world class bowlers (Wahab, Irfan, Yasir), Imagine a fourth one soon (Amir). By World Class I means, guys who can perform any where in the world, if anybody else can perform(from home team), they can match or better them...

Three of those can do all three (bat and field), this can build strong overall team. Three of those can play all formats...

T20 cricket has made Pakistan weakest link (fielding), lot better than we have ever seen. All we need to work on finding openers, that should be priority number 1

Well fans say they want youngsters and not TTFs so here they are being given a go.

Willey scored 100 off 40 balls in a T20 in the summer. Topley is 6ft 7, has a good FC record and a left-armer so provides something different to the bowling attack. Anderson and Broad are gonna stick to Tests it seems.

i cant for the life of me understand why anwar ali doesnt go for 70 every match. very happy that he doesnt, but just dont understand it.
 
This is the best bowling I've seen from Pakistan in a long long time. Simply brilliant.

Good Take by Sarfaraz, that was definitely going to be 4 runs if he had not collected it.
 
Some of the best death bowling I've seen from Pakistan in ages. Its not like Woakes and Willey are rank tail-enders who can't hold a bat, they're no mugs.

Glade to see Yorkers back!!! - This has being possible because of 4 fielders rule change, now bowlers has more length to experiment. Perviously you almost advertise what length you are going to bowl.

Pakistani pace venom is on the rise again!! :akhtar

Rules change has made this possible. With four fielders you cannot experiment with all lengths. Now Pakistan has pace and skill to bowl good yorkers and bumpers as well as luxury of extra fielders.

In pervious rules, one of those can go for boundary that can mess up over and rhythm of bowler. Now you will our bowlers will make a difference in last 10 overs on consistent basis than somebody else like our neighbors and other sides who don't have all the assets ;-)

The improvement shown by Irfan today is impressive.
 
England's tail should coach Pakistani tailenders on how to survive.

You make a good point. Can't wait for Amir as well! Finally our bowling line-up will start to look world class.
 
217 target now, not a huge total. Pakistan should play attacking game instead of over cautious game

Good performance by Pakistan. England are substandard when the ball turns
 
I don't see England winning a single match should they tour Bangladesh, maybe a test or two
