We can say what we want about Younis not deserving an ODI spot, but he's a true beauty.
He is a good bowler. You just can't discard him after one game. This is insane thinking. We will the game DW about that. But it boggles my mind that someone like bilal Asif has been selected to play at this level. He's not good in any facet of the game. This should be the end of his international career after this game.
He has been useful on some occasions in the past.Yes, wonderful test player. Useless ODI player.

Shot of the day for me by Hafeez, 4.

Batting wise he is funny ha ha.I think some of the reactions are a bit OTT. His batting is leading to negative perceptions of his bowling. 4 overs really isn't enough to gauge a bowler at all. He won't be dropped two matches after taking a five-fer. I hope he never bats anywhere above 7 again, though. Anwar is a better batsman, probably.![]()

How can you forget his 5 wicket haul against Zimbabwe? He can have a bad day. Yasir had bad days as well.He bowled 4 overs at an economy of 8. In what world is that considered 'good'?
When you say the above and realize the guy is opening for our international side then only do you realize how dumb and idiotic our management truly is. A batsman who is not even better than our current No.7 and has a mighty domestic average of 17
I would rather have Younis opening to be honest....
I don't understand the thought process. Wish someone would ask the management.

Playing Asif was a big mistake.
I'm not saying I agree with it, but we needed a 6th bowler with Hafeez not allowed to bowl and Harris injured. Babar is pretty untested in that regard.
Bilal has only recently started his career, so his stats may not be all encompassing due to small sample size. They obviously believe he has talent, and his recent form in T20s made management believe he could open and get Pak off to a good start.
