Atherton virtually calling Akmal a cheat for appealing

Now Atherton trying to backtrack after seeing Hawkeye showing the ball clipping the stumps.

hawkeye shows it hitting stumps but they said that if the pakaistanis reviewed it, it would be given NOT OUT. how?

if it was given out and england reviewed it would have stayed out =/

Less than half the ball would be hitting, Umpire's call stays on the marginal decisions.

good over by rehman

England RR is 2.1

England 48/1

Deficit 209 with 9 wickets in hand

Cook 27 Trott 5

wow, that's so arbitrary. i mean like do they decide if the ball is hitting atleast 50% of the wicket? it just seems random.

you need undeniable burden of proof (at least 1/2 the ball has to be hitting) to overturn an umpire's decision

however it's viceversa too, if it was given out and england reviewed it would still be given out because SOME of the ball was clipping

boycott on TMS saying Rehman is a really inviting bowler (nothing special)..really?

fantastic over by hafeez

LUNCH DAY 2

England 48/1

Cook 27 Trott 5

RR 2.0

his strength is his mcgrath line, keeping it really tight. if he errors in line he becomes toothless

How does THAT make sense? I mean if the ball is <50% hitting the stumps, how does mean that its out?

Steve Harmison on punditry and analysis

Willis might be senile but at least he has a knowledge and poise of his own.

because the umpire was valid in giving the decision out.
udrs is there to remove ridiculous decisions which i'm fine with

The game after lunch would be interesting. I don't think cook would survive long after lunch.

Just checking right now and we just added 1 run to our overnight score! What the what! This is ridiculous!

These two are the key wickets. Get them out and we will have a good chance of limiting england

What happened to Pakistan's batting?

Not worried though, good to see an early wicket.. and this partnership doesn't look like going anywhere soon.

who was dropped?
extremely disappointed at the way we have played so far in this game

Englands's game to lose from here. With 3 days to go after today. there's only 1 likely winner.
