Therefore no matter how good people are in domestics, yes they deserve a chance, but its no guarantee they would perform or not.

they should pick 5 best bowlers from the domestics and test each new batsman against them for 100 overs atleast before selecting him for the national side.

Why? He performed considerably well in the recent domestic T20 tournament; scored like three 50s in five matches. He may not be the biggest hitter of the ball, but at least he is able to stay on the crease and build some parterships, while scoring scoring a couple of fours, here and there.

But in my opinion, he should first look to cement his place in the ODI squad, before getting fast tracked into the T20 side.
