Why? He performed considerably well in the recent domestic T20 tournament; scored like three 50s in five matches. He may not be the biggest hitter of the ball, but at least he is able to stay on the crease and build some parterships, while scoring scoring a couple of fours, here and there.

But in my opinion, he should first look to cement his place in the ODI squad, before getting fast tracked into the T20 side.

Im going to try and give Akmal the benefit of the doubt. He was run out by Maqsood and then given unfairly out as well. Doesn't seem in bad form necessarily

So in order to overturn the decision you also need to conclude that it was definitely touching the ground
