I do not think Malik is his friend as such or he would had been in Asia cup where Malik had chance to score runs or even after that in this current series. Babar is just too loyal to players in his squad especially those he has had for long time now,hut for sure the more tgese KIA trio play the more they will be exposed.

No they wont be, they are there on quota and will be travelling to Australia, one good game will keep them in.. And im sure they can manage one good 30 odd to get things going..

That's what professional teams do. PCB is controlled by unprofessional individuals who have zero acumen of international cricket. I would have rested Rauf, Rizwan and Iftikhar in this series to chance to Wasim, Haris and Jamal.

Well they couldn't do that in the final against the Lankans or in the last match against England...

God, I miss the days when the likes of Afridi, Razzaq and Azhar used to bail out our normally below par total with big lofty blows towards the end (and they didn't need to be in for long).

True…Good teams build for future and we are the only team looks to protect failure cricketers career.

Not getting the point entirely... Aim for Malik is to play WT20 and retire if he wants to lol...

If Malik got his chance before WT20 and fails ,then that would be curtains for him.. But this way as it happens Malik's case and chances for playing WT20 grows higher and higher..]]

Inevitably he will be selected to strengthen middle order in WT20.... BABAR and MALIK playing smart..

What do Ifti and Khushdil have to do for the youngsters to get their chance? They could have had 3-4 games of rope but we're not budging from the TTF's for some reason.

The only thing i can think of that is that they've been watched in the nets and Yousuf thinks they are not ready yet.
 
Uhh, what happened to resting players & playing the bench? Rizwan still has zero rest. It was the perfect opportunity to do so on a back to back match but nope.

Pakistan will need to get 200+ batting first so it will be interesting to see the level of intent they bat with.

A shame we get to see Usman Qadir continue bowling.

I hope Babar scores today, otherwise he will be under pressure again for rest of the games.
 
One bad game and dahani is out the playing 11 whilst favourites keep being picked despite no performance. Then again this is all over Pakistan and our cricket team is just a reflection. Disappointing.

The trend seems to be Rizwan hogging the strike early while Babar plays in
 
Why they r not giving rest to Haris Rouf. Currently best bowler in Pakistan. What kind of team management is this. Top 3 are good players but all play in the same manner.
 
Same formula as the 2nd match... Riz the enforcer in the beginning while Babar finds his feet...

He wouldn't get into any of the top team squads let alone eleven
 
Olly Stone is a really good bowler.

I always assumed he was a red ball bowler but looks to have improved his game to be earning a T20I career.
 
lol bouncers our bowlers bowl get absolutely smashed.

Bouncers from oppositions, batters are ducking, getting out and having zero clue how to play it.

Same old start from Pakistan in a powerplay.

Bazid has a streak of dry humour which was evident when Pak came to England during co vid and was on the Sky podcast, cracking jokes with the native English speakers... The difference between the like sof Bazid and Wasim /Waqas is the the former actually had a proper education in the English langague while the latter picked it up during their cricket career which is why they get certain things wrong...

Babar takes his time to acknowledge the conditions which then puts the impotence on Rizwan to start aggressively.

Sharjeel-Babar partnership was instrumental to Karachi Kings success before last season.

Rizwan basically has to channel his inner Sharjeel.
