PAkistan best shot now is to just start giving free runs away and hope India declare and atleast give us 60 overs to chase whatever target.

simon tauffel wasn't very interested yesterday about close LBWs to Misbah as well :)
 
Can someone remind me why Umar Gul didn't play in this game??? Wasn't his injury almost healed, and he narrowly missed playing the final lineup of the 2nd test?

he was injured again just before 2nd test and was sent back home
 
maybe kumble will declare after gangu century b/c umpire are not going to give him out unless bowled

Actually umpires have started to give that out these days, especially in the subcontinent where the bounce isn't all that much. So going by what I read on cricinfo (no streams) it was out.

Which will prob mean we have to chase 300 in 60 over ... @5RPO ... tough ask considering we haven't gone at over 3.3 RPO all series.

Amir - See the match once in a while ;-) . Pathan was bowling around 138-140 every now and then !

Sorry mate but he isnt Sami who just goes downhill and never comes back.

Its nothing about guts mate :) Its because of India's excellent performance they have managed to place themselves in this situation where they can command the opposition like they want to !!! All the cards are on their deck and Pakistan is just waiting for them to drop one or two.

Fact is - we are masters of our own destiny right now where as you guys are under false hope.

Nothing about the speed then ? So we agree Pathan reached the most coveted 140 k mark on this board ?? ;-) Its not all about pace buddy. Time you guys realized !

And Pathan stayed there ?? :O He returned to the T20 and ODI teams and now the Test team. And moreover, has performed ! No comparison there
 
An alarming observation: Pakistan has bowled 18 overs in 1:32:00. Extremely slow runrate, which will come back to bite us in the final session.

If Pakistan gets going, and is on the track, India will also slow down the overrate.

There's not enough light in the evening to keep the game until 90 overs (or 87, with the change of innings) have been bowled.
