I want to go to bed now, but mujhe jagaye ga koun if there is any action later in the night?

What i don't understand is that our under 19 team is very good and is dominating the under 19 circuit so why are our senior team not dominating. What is happening to all that talent? Where is it going?

Corruption is chewing it up and spitting it out. Simple as that.

Do you ask this question everytime you look at something new?

Just kidding. :))

Yeah we go through if the match is washed out. Kinda sad to advance in that manner though.

Modi just issued a statement that he'll personally come to the airport to receive the team.

Plus he will make sure that nobody bowl short to indian batters :))) :))) :)))

Modi will most probably bring his entourage of scantily-clad dancers - The IPL is looking for fresh "talent" in NZ too!

They are showing the 1998 U-19 final actually...

I made that post before the match.

They showed cycling until the update came then they showed the England-India U-19 match and now the 1998 U-19 final.

No, only Indians can do that in cricket.

I never claimed Indian team is dominating , even though we havent done badly .

infact in recent years Aus and SA have produced much better talent than India or Pak at junior level , even NZ and Eng have looked very impressive ..huge myth that only subcontinent players are talented

They've utilised the talent better. I wouldn't say they have better talent at this level else they'd be getting to most the finals and winning them.

Im going to sleep hope to wake up in the morning and see pakistan have qualified for the semi finals inshallah take care guyz.

Aus have won it twice ,just like India and Pakistan & SA last year had a top notch team .

1:00pm: The good news is that rain has gone and there is a strong wind. Play might start at 2:30pm.

Well, there could be a twist here.

How many overs consititute a game, is it 10?

it must be a 20/20 to get a result otherwise.. no result which mean pakistan goes thru

Wonder how many of these kids have played T20s.

Everyone has played Gully cricket.. and most guys play in those tape ball tourneys back in Pakistan. I am sure our guys have a ton of slogging experience. :)

Well good luck to the Pak U19's.

I'm going to sleep.

Obviously, but I was thinking about at a bit of a higher level than that, as in at practice camps for this WC etc.

I highly doubt it.

They wouldn't endorse practicing the shorter format before the U-19 world cup which is a 50 over tourney.

Although most of them practice their slog shots in the nets.

Let's hope the Pakistani lads come out with a positive attitude if the game goes ahead.

I can very easily see them being mentally unprepared to play and thus handing the game over to India.

No, I know the senior team practised T20 games for a few days in the built up to the CT, obviously its good to play a different format when its lighthearted, and time saving. Just wondering if they would have, I agree though - I doubt they have, should make for interesting viewing how they approach it.

Also the pitch is probably a bit spicy now.

Kahani mein twist :P Im jst worried that i think the Indian seamers are thrie strong point and under over cast and hot and humid conditions there will be a bit there for the seamers.

Also be interesting to see if the opening bowlers for india are bowled staright through again like in the england match

Too bad...covers back on...BCCI consulting NASA for the latest weather controlling technology...

Yup it's raining again. They just gave an update on sky sports.

It's pouring down again.

Ah, just when it looked to get interesting the rain is back. :(

Sky Sports suggests that for thier to be a T20 game game has to start by 2 55 UK time probly so that gives another 2 hours and 10 mins approx but not looking good for india at the moment at all
