We don't want fast scoring, we want singles doubles, at this rate this match isnt going anywhere its maiden after maiden, block after block, just going to end up in a wicket or 2.

This is the master plan by :misbah he is wearing the bowlers down then he will flog them with a whip.

Misbah is ultra defensive, this is a bit boring to be honest. Everyone went past 20 (barring Hafeez) except for Misbah. C'mon dude!

Hes not out which makes your comment pretty irrelevant...Adnan Akmal hasnt crossed 20 either yet

Pak batsmen in a way are just waiting for another wicket to fall ... there is hardly any plan to take lead before the end of the day without losing more than two wickets

how many times have we seen this ?

Everyone who's faced 50 balls has made at least 20 but Misbah. Are you happy now smart ass? Clearly my comment was about his s/r being low.

i wish he had caught that. the look on the NZ faces would have been priceless

No ball, edge and just infront of slip

150 up for pakistan.

I think we'll be batting very late into Day 3 and still not have a lead, Misbah has already decided to play for a draw, as a captain he is way tooo defensive. This was the best chance of today to get closer to or some sort of lead above New Zealand but that chance has gone to waste.

edge ... just look at this super under confident shot from a batsman who has been on the crease for a couple of hours now

Pakistani batting looked better against SA on similar wicket and much better bowling.

we should be looking to get a big lead...but by playing with an overly defensive approach we will only bring upon our own downfall by getting frustrated...which ALWAYS happens...and also they are eating up overs...remember this pitch is flat, so we need to give our bowlers as much time as we can to bowl NZ out fast...

Happened with Taufeeq Umar, Younis Khan lost concentration too, played a loose shot...

no one is asking to hit boundaries...but u have to look to rotate strike...it just doesn't work this way...

you have to be thinking of ways to unsettle the bowlers...blocking is not the way...

Your comment made no mention about SR's only scores...and if your comment is about SR's then who cares about SR's...we were 107/4 looking like we were going to collapse and now we have added 47 runs and the partnership is still going...

Honestly if you want quick runs then go watch T20 cricket...this is ugly cricket and its slow but we're getting closer and closer to NZ's first innings score...

Pretty simple basic human logic and common sense should recognize this fact .... i dunno hamaray players kis mitti kay bannay huvay hain

Nice footwork by Shafiq now. Looks to be growing in confidence against spin.

There u go ,,,, frustration came out and Shafiq got lucky to hit a boundary ... Misbah must be telling him ,,,, ahista khelo ... khayal se khelo ... araam sey khelo
