What's new

Pakistan v New Zealand | 2nd Test - Day 4 | Wellington | 6/12/09

your say: catches win matches

but when you drop 10 catches and still win.

What to say about the other team?

honestly this team's fielding is more pathetic than any other Pak team. They really need to hire a fielding coach. Catching sessions by grandma Intikhab are just not paying off.

this match should have been over if not for 2 catches dropped by malik...kick him out...

Only against a lame NZ team, even then they won first test. Now if these guys don't want to lose 3-0 to AUS, they need to really work on holding catches.

PATHETIC BATTING

PATHETIC FIELDING

and we're still likely to win this one? Two pathetic test teams? I think so.

I'd be such an injustice if they play Malik in the next Test or in the Aus series.

If we want to win this series and do something in aus then the fielding has to improve so much that it is hard to put into words.

Wouldn't be the first time, he keeps playing inspite of being a completely useless batsman

It's not even about improvement.

I mean this is basic stuff. And we're **** poor at it.

yup right but what i can say:

Out: Malik
In: Faisal Iqbal

Malik loosening up?! Dont tell me he's going to get to bowl?!

He'll take the last 2 wickets, and retain his position in the last test.

WTH i can see water droplets on the camera screen.
Has it started raining?

Threatening clouds...

It looks like its gonna rain cats and dogs over there.

Hopefully we can wrap this up before the rain comes down.

Faisal Iqbal in for Malik? No thanks.

I'd rather have Sarfaraz Ahmed play. Atleast he'll be hungry to prove himslef and do well.

It looks a little dreary weather wise. What's the forecast for tomorrow?

That's because we have brilliant bowling, which overrides the other two by just a little tiny smudge.

I don't think we can take the series with this kind of fielding.

The more they score runs, the more pissed I am at Malik.

From Cricinfo -

Paul: "I'm up in the Wellington hills and it's starting to rain here.. hopefully NZ can hold out until the rain hits the Basin... if it does.."

Anyone but Malik. Thank you very much.

Vettori needs another bat now, and the NZ commies are saying thats smart cricket!
If a Pakistani had done this then what?

Yeah I read that too...

Not looking pretty. It's drizzling hard on the field as well.

I wouldn't call it brilliant just yet. Let's see what they do against Oz.

Forecast is sunny.

But you never know Wellington...

Aamir please destroy the stumps there is no other chance to get wickets here

4 more for O'Brien

He's surely making sure that he finishes his career on some good note with wickets and runs to his name!

Aamer's got a field packed with slips and he's bowling yorkers and full tosses

I guess he can't rely much on catches

Cricinfo;

Jeffrey: "Their poor performance has invoked the wrath of the rain gods of the Tasman Sea."

lol.

Bring in Gul, let him bowl some yorkers to O'Brien and get it over with. This has dragged on for too long now.

I hope he gets injured.

Groin strain. Pulls a hamstring. Something like that.
