Afridi wasn't that bad when he started his career but he got worse at batting somehow he got dumber

He lost interest in tests around 07, retired temporarily . Then when T20 IPL etc started in 08 he realised he could make alot more money for a lot less work.

Had a decent tests career (avg of 38 with the bat, few hundreds also) I mean these days we are happy with Azhar and Shafiq averaging 40, where as afridi used to open and averages around that. If he had continued to play tests would be alot better ODI player. Same thing with U Akmal, guy needs to play tests to become a better ODI player.
