He cant play spinners, he cant play boucers, he cant play at top order so whats the point sticking with him, go and find someone else to play down the order without such lackings

Victories are written off while defeats like the other day lead to embarrassment and derision.

That said, Rizwan's injury allows us to a find a more balanced top 3. Playing 2 anchors in the top 3 is a surefire way of ensuring belowpar totals. Whether it's Fakhar, Usman or Shadab I'm not bothered but hopefully someone grasps the opportunity.

Upsets in cricket can happen, problem is these Upsets aren't Upsets. They expose the reality of how weak our team is.

Nz is really just playing with 2 players, Chapman and bracewell, shows the insane gap between pur teams.

Rn, it's become blatantly obvious on how Babar functions as a captain.

So why is their still defence on Babar and rizwan?

The whole narrative on Babar declining due to pressure and unnecessary hate, but after taking a well deserved break emerged as the greatest captain to represent PSL and now is miraculously the most improved captain who backs his players all fell flat on everyone's A@@, in a matter of 2 games?

So why is their still a false narrative being played?

There's been much hoopla about Babar and Rizwan finally sacrificing their opening partnership.

But it's not much of a breakup is it if they're still occupying 2 of the top 3 positions ? With Saim's poor form, Babar and Rizwan are batting for most of the first 10 overs anyway.

It's a typically Pakistani half measure.

They are reporting that Rizwan, Shadab, Shaheen, Naseem will be rested and Fakhar, Imad, Amir and Usama Mir will come in.

Yep. that was pretty surprising that haseeb is in reserves and a guy that you rested in last series saying that he is your future (haris) was not even named anywhere. LOL
 
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi has extended a special invitation to orphaned children to watch the match.

140 Orphaned children will be special guests of the PCB at the Gaddafi Stadium.

Special hospitality and refreshment will also be provided to the orphaned children during the match.

This is a small effort to bring joy and smiles to the faces of orphaned children. Mohsin Naqvi

Ats why you field your own weakened team vs opp team B.

You can rest main players and build bench.

Naseem, Shaheen and Bobby B don't need to play this series. They can sharpen up against England before WC.
 
I am expecting few changes for this game. Fakhar to come in for Rizwan 100% and play at 4, Imad to come in and usama might also get a game.

I wonder if it's a PCB directive. These Chairmen are so insecure and our media is so toxic that they don't want to risk losing even these inconsequential series.
 
Update on Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Irfan Khan

PCB Medical Panel yesterday received Radiology reports of Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Irfan Khan. After reviewing the reports and in consultation with the Pakistan team management, it has been decided to rest the two players from Thursday’s and Saturday’s T20Is against New Zealand.

The two players will work on their rehabilitation with the PCB Medical Panel at NCA.

The PCB sent the reports to British doctors to consult

Clearly, they don’t look great. It’s as if they want to British doctors to say the reports are not as bad as they look.
 
Pakistan should go batting heavy tomorrow and try to get at least 200 runs otherwise be ready for the Mark Chapman's curse.

Its a good opportunity to give Fakhar and Saim a go at the top to get an explosive start.

A missed opportunity not playing Salman Ali this series.

Wasim jr was bowling fast and is a useful striker down the order and should of been given this series as well.

if its batting frinedly wicket so NZ would have an upper hand because with such pathetic SR history of our boys we cant expect them to score a good total.
 
Fakhar will be playing at 4 most probably as usman khan has some superb stats at number 3 spot. HIs place as a number 3 is secured in the absence of Rizwan. Babar and Saim will open and I guess that is the only combo that should work. Imad will also be playing today I guess.

My predictions, Bookmark when this happens.

A) Babar scores soft runs at a snails pace In the PP and gets dismissed by Bracewell due to lack of backfoot play, Expect a 30 of 25 type score.

B) Saim's troubles continue as an opener hitting a few flash strokes and getting dismissed.

C) Usman Khan proves everyone wrong at 3 and sends the rizwan fandom in a tumbling boil of rage.

D) Fakhar idk but if he performs people want open, if he fails people want open.

E) Shadab shows some flashy hits.

F) chacha is still useless

G) Imad shows why he's a goat at opening the bowling and plays well by finishing at the end.

H) abrar and Amir shine while everyone like naseem and shaheen get pelted by chapman or neesham.

The world of Pakistani cricket is very uncertain. A player is out of the team due to injury and then gets sidelined, which is why players play even when injured,players themselves speak about it. In such an insecure environment, players are afraid to rest. This is not Australia.
Apart from this, they receive hate and abuse from toxic fans and media when they lose. We lack patience, which is why every match is played to win.

It's not hard to follow the Australian example. You don't need to be LIKE AUSTRALIA to imitate them. Theirs a big difference.

First of the players are bringing hate upon themselves by being on social media and attracting such unwanted attention.

If you're gonna make claims such as I'm the Bradman if t20, then obviously you'll get clowned. Australian players have also gotten clowned, David Warner for a while got clowned due to his toxicity and letting sa get into his head, but because Warner doesn't give a kahoot about social media, the heat died down quick and he wasn't mentally affected. Infact he wasn't even aware of this 90% of the time. He knew CA was banning him for a year but he wasn't aware of fan sentiment nor did he care.

Pur players on the other hand live and breathe social media, whike if you look at kohli's media, he's mostly advertising companies such as Nike, BoAts etc. Very rarely he goes off topic such as praising himself for beating Tendulkar record which he deserved. He's never engaged with superstars or toxic fans.

Secondly, Australia board knows how to develop teams, Yes they have a better talent pool, Travis head alone is single handidely superior to Amy batsmen Pakistan has ever had, with only zaheer abass a 1970's batsmen being up for contention lol 😂.

But the approach to mimick them can be done, it's not hard to get a talent pool and nurture it, Ironically AFGHANISTAN IS BETTER THEN US AT IT. they've learned how to nurture and develop a talent pool but Pakistan hasn't. Its sad honestly.

We're only better then Sri Lanka and bamgaldesh when it comes to nurturing and that's pathetic really.

Not just Travis, Warner is also better then any pakistani batsmen.

Only reason I added zaheer abass and Anwar is due to nostalgia value, but let's be honest, Anwar was a tailender in SENA conditions, and zaheer abass is outdated lol.

Anwar wasn't a tailender in SENA countries. Not in Tests at any rate. Maybe not the greatest technique but he made up for it with great hand eye and bat speed.

His record against SENA in SENA was surprisingly poor in ODI cricket.

Did well against England, was average against NZ , but got absolutely bullied by SA and OZ.
