Off Topic : Hafeez gets a a lot of stick for being mediocre on PP but from what I am seeing right now he is probably the only sensible stroke maker in the team ATM. He may have a weakness against the moving ball but on slow low surfaces he can surely hold his own and given how WC pitches would be flatter than normal WC in Australia, I would certainly lock him as a specialist batsman Down under.

Would surely not do bad than Jamshed, YK, Asad and Umer

In the context of those times, for sure. But today you can't get away with blockers, trundlers and poor fielders. You need specialists with that modern, athletic mindset. We don't have that anywhere in either selection committee, coaches or captain.

I'm telling you now there are associate teams with better batting line ups than this travesty you guys insist on picking.

Shafiq and younis are absolutely dreadful ODI players not just due to lack of skill, but their approach which fails 9 Times out of 10 totally and utterly destroys the chase and gives lower batsmen no chance. Throw in Misbah and Shehzad ( who is so slow at starting) and you have s batting line up that every team in group B will fancy beating.

This is against a second string NZ at home btw, truly awful.

Bring this side to the WC and prepare for a humiliation IMO, because that batting line up is one of the worst I've seen.
