I praise him for the effort, well deserved; however, when the batsman gives himself room on consistent basis instead of going down the wicket and playing with a straight bat, it simply indicates a low confidence level on his batting skills.

I hope he learns.

But then again, there is hardly any class batsman in Pak team who can consistently go down the wicket and play an inside out stroke through or over covers/mid-off for a boundary - which is the first indicator of a batsman in a good touch and high confidence.

UAE is a very tough place to play the short ball. Slow wickets, you don't know how much its going to bounce.

Haris is a top player of short ball. I've seen him smash short balls for 6 in South Africa.

Its really been worrying

Our top order batsmen take all the time in the world and don't even score half the runs till 30th over and then our lower order batsmen are forced to play too many shots. I won't really blame sarfraz and akmal here. The rrr was too much and they had to take risks. If pakistan had 150 on the board after 30 overs .. things wuld have been smooth.
