We struggled a bit in the first 3 or 4 overs but after that it was all one way traffic. Good stuff but it would have been nice if one of our batters had stayed until the end. Too many starts and not enough finishes.

Anyway, good warm up for our batsman before the main event on Friday.

As far as Twenty20s go, 171 is a good enough total even against good sides on a slow wicket. But the fact that its Scotland we are playing, we should have got about 30-45 runs more

Salman Butt's position in the side has to be reviewed upon. 13 from 23 balls is a very very poor return. I suggest we drop him for the next match and open with Nazir and Hafeez

Fair enough that we didnt show up with the bat because it was a dodgy wicket, but now we have to prove with the ball! they have to try and bowl Scotland out very cheaply just to gain some momentum in this tournament!

Nah. I think chasing at 8.56 runs per over is a lot to ask from the Scottish batsmen. Anything under 150 would have given them a chance but to chase at 8.56 against a bowling attack of Asif, Gul, Arafat etc is a lot to ask from them

What really hurts Pakistan is he's a VC. you can't drop your vc(in pakistan).

We got off to a very poor start. I think Afridi has to be promoted up the order to make those early overs really count.
