Things look bleak for Pakistan with SA absolutely bossing the match, they lead by 361 runs with 6 wickets still remaining.

Pakistan will likely need to bat more than 2 days to save this one.

Expect Pakistani to take a few quick wickets in the morning session.Else it will be tough.

Draw will be a huge upset from here. Hope Younus Khan makes a triple hunderd and Misbah does TuK Tuk For 3 days

We need a SUPER TUK TUK EFFORT, each player shouldn't care about runs now, just block block then block and leave leave then leave! That shouldn't be too much to ask for! Even if they score nothing, they just need to accumulate time at the crease. Remember AB de Villers vs Australia, 30 runs off around 300 balls, and he saved the match. If each player can put in that sort of effort, we can save this game....

We have lost match already, nothing will work. Unless a super duper effort

Playing conditions for today. First session will be of 2.30 hours and the Lunch will be of one hour due to Friday prayers. #PakvSA

Can't remember any team sooooooo comfortably placed only after TWO days of Test Match Cricket ???????? A First for us ...... I guess.

Irfan finally gets the wicket he deserved, but so many runs later.. curse you Adnan Akmal!

wow

i guess i finally give up the little support i had for adnan akmal, they're all the same, the brothers

and as i type this, thank God for Pakistani bowlers, Smith's gone

SA could declare now to be honest. Looking at the pitch, I think it would be quite tough for Pakistani batsmen.

we had a shocking bowling day yesterday Zulfi was injured while Ajmal was out of form/found out. This was a 300 runs max pitch.

More likely that the pitch dried up more since yesterday.

credi to SA they bullied us on a tricky track ofcourse aided by akmal and the umpires

We are ourselves to be blamed for wrong decisions, We wasted all our reviews on half shouts and when there were close shouts we didnt have reviews

This match is gone now unless you guys think Pakistan can score more than 600 or can play out 200 overs.

Adnan has to take half the blame for this loss, if he had taken that catch of AB, SA wouldnt have got a lead beyond 100-150

just shows how much we were in the game had AB been snapped up first ball Duminy and Du plessis have no clude how to bat in these conditions we had a genuine chance in bowling them out for 200.

Obviously Pakistan are not winning this or even drawing it.

Avoiding innings defeat should be the goal

Irfan deserved that wicket....

Duminy looked Chris martin in front of irfan today

Irfan bowling his heart out. Hopefully he can get his first 5fer today. He really deserves it.

Yes, Lead wouldnt have got past 100 if Adana had taken that catch

3rd warning for Irfan. He's done bowling. Doesn't make too much of a difference though, inning is near an end.

He's gonna have to sort that issue out. he's been warned in like every inning of both test matches.

255 overs left in the match so to save the match i think we need to bat at least 210 overs assuming SA declare at lunch

On Cricinfo:

Waqar: "I still reckon Pak can win this game. If the batters apply themselves, they will get runs...Even a lead of 125 runs will make a match out of this on day-5"

:waqar

I doubt that. Pitch has changed today, even De villers and Smith, who played so well yesterday, looked clue less today

Why aren't SA declaring? They have a substantial lead, and the pitch is clearly not easy to bat on. Should really exploit these conditions.

It's not about pitch had that catch been taken SA would have been in trouble, Duminy and Faf look clueless regardless of the pitch

They will declare at lunch, Still 1 hour left in lunch, they will have 450 lead by then

Irfan never had any problems in his follow through in ODIs. What happened now?
Tactics? Tired?

SA are struggling to bat for 160 overs but Pakistan will be able to bat for 210 overs ? Talk about optimism.

SA have got nothing to lose from here, they will not have to be defensive and can employ attacking fields from ball 1 till the end.

Actually if u talk in cricketing sense its pakistan who have got nothing to lose in this situation. They are already trailing by 400 runs. ;-)

In ODIs Umpires arent that touchy about danger area...

What Tactics?? To make rough area for Tahir to bowl :p

Noone is saying we will do that we are just stating what Pakistan needs to do to save the match...

99% of Pakistanis are sure this is a loss "Mr einstein" :p

Babar is a decent spinner but i dont think he is good enough to replace Rehman ...

The more overs SA bat, the less overs our batsmen have to survive :afridi
