Pakistan to resume 134/4 needing to bat 180 overs to save the match. SA just need 6 more wickets to level the series 1-1.

Really no realistic way for Pakistan to make a match of this - the end in my view will be very swift.

Babar will not bat as per Waqar Younis so Pak 5 down effectively

Nothing is impossible, but this is very improbable-99% in SA favour.

:basit an hour before said i was axed from the team as i refuse to make the ball for reverse swing

This just in from the ICC: "South Africa's Faf du Plessis has been fined 50 per cent of his match fees after breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during the third day's play in the second and final cricket Test against Pakistan in Dubai.

No ban I'm perplexed

No ban for Faf? Just wow. If it was one of our lads, they would have been banned for 3 ODI matches... guess being a "white" country has its benefits. I am not saying this in any racist way, but usually the Asians (Sl,Ind,and Pak) would have been scrutinized heavily.

Ridiculous double standards by ICC FaF and Philander should have been banned, FaF fined 50% of match fees and Philander doesnt even get that....

LOL at David boon saying it wasnt deliberate

I have come to terms with us losing this match, but we need to go down fighting. Meaning, take on the loose balls, and maybe just maybe these last wickets can get us somewhat of a lead, it will be less shameful. Blocking all day is not going to help, we are not going to able to block our way out of this match.

In relation to Waqar's comment about how incidents of such were dealt with more sever punishments such as a ban (Afridi's example) and Haysmen responds it wasn't his first offence, lol

Dont think Afridi has been banned for ball tempering prior to that, though he did a bit of pitch tempering :p

Also, Zulfiqar Babar got 6 stitches in his hand and won't be able to bat..when did this happen?

SB: "Du Plessis pleaded guilty. Yet Boon is satisfied its not part of a deliberate attempt to tamper the ball.. I am not sure how those two co-exist in the same report?"

:13:

why the hell umpire gave it out in first place that looked not out

:13:
beats me.

and how did Philander not get penalized?

Waqar how was that coming towards the stump

It was always going down

the marking on fafs trouser leg suggest that he'd done a lot of 'shining' prior to the magic bullet

Cmon, nothing is finished, we still have a very minute chance.
