Both shots played by Akmal and Shehzad are the same they've been playing historically. How many times has Akmal got out playing the cut on the back foot? Hundred times? Has he learnt?

That's not my point. My point is a critique of the coach. He picked Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad to presumably bat at specific numbers. But after one loss everything changed. A vision was completely thrown out the window. Building a Team requires very specific thinking.

That said, numbers do matter. You have to ask players do things they are capable of as opposed to things they are not. Putting players in the best possible position to succeed should be Team Building 101.

If your talking about imad, even without sixes he can still maintain a strike rate of 130 plus then that is what is needed. Bat him above sarfraz hopefully he gets even better.

As far as his bowling, yes he needs to take more wickets. But his economy rate is decent for t20s especially considering he bowls in first few overs with the new ball in power play.
