4th ball = 3 runs by kami
fawad finishes it up on the 5th

Wonderful hitting from Akmal, he didn't really middle either of those final 2 sixes, yet they cleared the boundary comfortably.

Great game of cricket. I thought we had it throughout the run chase, just not until that last over. Silly me.

Top, top innings by Malik. Excellent contributions from Manzoor and Younis, with Alam and Akmal having huge rules in the end.

Really, really good game of cricket.
 
A superb finish to the inaugural match of this ODI series. Gayle bowled a brilliant 49th over, conceding just 6 runs but Kamran Akmal hit two big sixes in the final over to settle the game for Pakistan! The Pakistanis are rejoicing on the field and so they should, it's their first game in over four months, and after all the turmoil that has affected their cricket, this victory will come as big morale booster. Idiot Butt almost cost us the match with his slow test match type scoring. He scored 24 runs in 53 balls while Akmal scored 24 runs in 9 balls to win the game.

Anyway, MOM should go to Malik for slowing the runrate down when Gayle was going insane, and for playing a well paced innings down the order to give Pakistan a chance. Akmal also deserves something, but he did drop some catches today.

Either way, WE WON! Brilliant game.
 
Other than Gayle, WestIndies don't have any batsman who can take them to 300.. all their batsmen are more like 225 runmakers kind...if Pakistan can beat WestIndies with Gayle making a century, there is no way Westindies gonna win any future matches.in this series against Pakistan..mark my words "Pakistan gonna Whitewash WestIndies"
