How can umpire deny the appeal of Saeed Ajmal and not Afridi? :boom:

Umpire will ruin the Ajmal performance for sure! He had both of batsmen were out already, but what can be done now! :po:

this match is far better than India vs England. At least, this match is not one sided match. :D

unless you can see the future ahead of the drinks break, but that isn't possible (in MOST cases)
 
Expecting a lot from Ajmal already? Didn't his appeal turn down for his both plumb lbw? His performance is fine, but you guys expecting a lot already. Give him break Yaar!
 
Hopefully malik will introduce himself into the attack pretty soon.
Reasons for Ajmal change
1- a wicket has fell and batsman will be tentative.
2- Ajmal is settling down and bowling with good line and length.
Lets hope malik will prove me wrong.

Going on your theory Rao actually had Chanderpaul out had Mr Ajmal taken the catch.

Just checked cricinfo and it says "Pakistan on top after Sarwan falls".
what the heck? west indies are on top. they have SEVEN wickets in hand and they have to make just 100+ runs. it would require an epic collapse if west indies were to lose this one.

Not really, pakistan are a bit in front here. The squeeze is on, an remember, it isnt easy to bat out there by the looks of things. Pakistani pacers have 11 overs left between them, and if the spinners can bowl the remaining 9 without being hurt too much, windies would be in a bit of bother

Seriously, the way he turned and stared at Chnaderpaul I thought we may see a fight break out between them.

haha......I can say that for a lot of other people posting in this thread. Some really weird comments here Immy, you must have read them
 
natalia you have to remember that after these two there is only Findlay and Baugh followed by the tail. I think that it is evenly poised right now. if we get the wicket of Chander then we will be on top but if these two can string a good partnership together then Windies will have the edge.

Hopefully this will be as thrilling as the last match.

Edit: Run out \o/. We are slightly on top now imo.

Afridi almost got another one. But Akmal dropped it. Thats his one for the match.
 
Akmal drops a customery catch. As Ramiz put it so aptly an embarrasing smile from Akmal. Idiot should hide those horrible gnashers.

yes...tell me about it...i have refrained from posting upto now but jeez some of the comments are just infuriating....they just dont understand the concept of cricket...the pressure aspect etc...i think they just think all the games are like 20/20...

I know, but how does that has to do with his bowling> His bowling is fine, but need more matches to gain the confidence back like Asia Cup. He was bowling marvelous and caused damage to Indian batsmen, aka The King Of Spin. We need him in forthcoming series, India tours of Pakistan. Indian batsmen have no clue how to play him. But due to lack of cricket, he looks out of touch. Give him a few matches and he is there!
