Rao, finally gets a wicket. I knew he wouldn't go wicketless in this match, not the way he was Bowling! I don't think we need Akthar now!

You guys... do know that Chanderpaul can still win the game for West Indies, right? Don't be so overconfident.

I guess it's 80%/20% for a Pakistan win, but Chanderpaul can do an Akmal and win it :D
 
I think Fawad Alam can be our Chanderpual in time. Touch player and when settled in can smash a few.
 
Even though Rao gets a lot of stick here on PP

I think he is a much better choice than Rauf

its interesting that both Gul and Rao have almost the same amount of matches with very very simillar stats...and people always consider Gul such a better bowler..Rao is def underrated..honest trier imo :raja
 
Bring in Tanvir to finish it off already :P
But it'd be hilarious to see... all the tailenders getting out, Chanderpaul stranded on his 99 and west indies are all out :P

No doubt that Gul is the better bowler in terms of skill, talent and ability.

But there is a place for Rao in the ODI sqaud.
 
Still a lot of work left for Pakistan to do though, unless they take the easy way and get all the other tailenders out instead of Chanderpaul :P
 
rao has been underrated alot, he's a decent ODI bowler and experienced well enough to play regularly in the ODI side

akmal's been shoddy in the keeping dept today,

chanders lives on 90+ has played good for the windies

cmon pak finish dem off in style

some people judge on looks not just appearance but action etc and that might be the reaso. He is a decent bowler.

Both were inside pitched, indeed very plumb lbw. Both of Chanderpaul and Sarwan

Exactly. Pakistani fielders need to work on their direct throws. Some are good at it, like Younis, Malik, Afridi, etc. But the bad fielders in the team like Tanvir etc need to work on that.

And a certain person named Saeed Ajmal needs to work on his high catching at night

Awful fielding again from Butt. He keeps winding up and throwing instead of a quick release. He is just an allround pathetic cricketer.

Good, put him where he can be exposed. Why should the captain hide a young cricketer who should enjoy his fielding. It's shameful in this day and age where the captain has to hide a liability in the field to long leg and sweeper position.

still could go either way guyz...spinners still have to bowl 2 overs...although it has been difficult to play spin in the end overs spinners can always go for runs

As I mentioend earlier, this WI is only good enuf to play against zim or bangladesh. I wud be surprised if pakistan lose even a single game against this team this series.
 
Butts fielding has always been hopeless. I remember him once taking a brilliant catch a while ago. It must have been a total fluke I guess.

Bangladesh and Zimbabwe can dream of a Gayle, Chanderpaul and Sarwan.
 
Chanderpaul played a similar knowck vs Srilanka, i think it was last year. He hit a six off the last ball with 5 or 6 required.

This Ajmal is crap man. Keeps experimenting with his line. Bloody keep the game simple man.
 
This has been another keenly contested match. Well played Chanderpaul. Just a fantastic innings. Hopefully Pak will come through.
