He shouldn't be at 4... period. Should be Malik at 4 then Misbah at 5.

Misbah's been doing that all series, maybe he's made a conscious decision to fill the gap left by Yousuf... but this is too slow even for an anchor role.
 
Tactical error again, there was no need to take the powerplay right now.

Pakistan must be the worst team in international cricket when it comes to scoring big runs during power play. Misbah is supposed to be a beast, well he is doing jack.

I believe that since he has moved into Yousaf's spot he is trying to replicate his game rather than play his own natural strokes. Malik needs to come in at 4.

doesn't matter.. all Pakistan need to do is just nail Gayle very early in the innings itself, then they won't chase any total.
 
ridiculous stuff .... what on earth was the point of taking the powerplay if we are not going to make use of it whatsoever ...
 
Misbah might start the charge soon, he cant keep going like this forever with 8 wickets in hand.
 
only 20 runs in the powerplay...
misbah approach so far has been perpexling...
hopefull he will unleash in the last overs
 
If there is one thing that our batsman are better than any other team in the word is.............

Relaaaax! They will use the power player, but at the same time, you can not expect thrown their wickets away! This is ODI; therefore using Power Player according to the situation! Yaar

Im in the netherlands.

And yeah, TEN sports is available since a few months in Europe now :)

Only through satellite

I'd much much much much much rather see a Younis century at 85% strike rate than an Afridi 30 at 300% strike rate.

And Younis is more likely to get a century than Afridi is to get a 30 these days.

Anyway....anyone have any illegal or legal free links I can watch online with?

Oh right so your in the Netherlands! Oh yeah I saw some ad's of some satellite services on which you can get quite a few channels....I even once gave them a call and they started asking all weird questions as to how I heard of them and where I am calling from and all sorts of stuff....:P

Probably they were curious of receiving such a quick phone call after just a few days of advertising! :P LOL SO I never gave them a call again!

Persist with it Hash, should work, one of the best i've had, hardly any stutters :)
 
Younis is doing a great job. Strike rate is high enough on 88.46. But Mr Misbah not even on 50 strike rate having been out there for nearly 15 overs. He better do some real hitting to make up for this.

Younis hasn't hit many boundaries but he has picked up singles and doubles but Mishbah hasn't even done that.

If you remember this is the sort of wierd innings Misbah played in the Canada T20. Came in scratched around and got out.
 
Misbah has a tendency to do this every now and then. He just comes in and tuk tuk nudges around for a couple of hours and then heads off again.

Not sure what causes it.....perhaps a bout of reverse beast.
