Pakistan v Zim [Match 17/Group D] - Zimbabwe Inns

I never thought i'd see anything funnier that Saeed Anwar's lbw appeal to buknor in 03 Wc but Moyo's celebration was even better.

For such an experienced broadcaster like Tony Cozier, his interview of Inzi & Prosper were appaling!

Inzi dedicates this game to Bob

"Every Pakistani, Every cricket lover is sad for Bob"

Inzis interview:

Mentioned that he will miss everything about ODI cricket and he seems to be very emotional. Thanks Bob Woolmer and dedicates the game to him and that every pakistani and cricket lover misses him. Thanks the people and nation that have supported him.

A nice final interview from Inzi.

"Thanks to the nation for supporting me for 16-17 years, but in the end i couldn't give response to the nation ... in this world cup" Inzi

Nazir might have let slip the identity of our new captain:)

MoYo1 YAY! In his whole career his bowling is: 2 wickets from 2 balls.
LOL! Inzi, I will remember him forever. I will even remember him when I am 100 years old, Inshallah. wait, but he still plays Test Cricket! YAY1

He is very good actually. Whenever I've seen him being captain, I have seen Pak winning. He is gonna be our captain and MoYo our VC.( Vice Captain.)

I'll give you that but the Headingly test was going well for us until our traditional collapse.

Younis hasn't proven anything as a captain, despite all the talk of him 'unifying the players, leading from the front, playing an attacking brand of cricket'. Where do people get these ideas? What has he proved?

Inzi wasn't the best captain tactically but he had a good record, he was highly respected by the players; he had plenty of good days as captain no matter what anyone says. This is before we consider his amazing gifts as a batsman. Inzi underachieved in my opinion, he was a ridiculously talented batsman. The best of Younis will never be able to match the best of Inzi, Younis is simply not good enough. You will never realise what you lost with Inzi until he is gone - and he nearly is.

It might have to be Yousuf by default. I dunno what he is like as a captain, but he is the only player with a secure spot in both test and one day sides. Pak couldn't have seperate captains, they are just not professional enough for it to work.

Well MoYo was Inzi's vice-captain up until early 2005, and I was quite annoyed when he was relieved of his duties.

As for 2 captains - IT NEVER WORKS.

I really wonder how Moyo would have fared as captain in the CT. Wasn't he given the captaincy after YK's spat and then relinquished? I think he would be a good candidate. He's level headed, calm and his captaincy wasn't all that bad against Australia in 2005.
