Australia and England are as good as any sides on flat roads. This doesn't look like one. Pakistan should still fancy their chances to beat this Australian side on this surface.

Its surprising how some of our fans still don’t understand the role of conditions in how fast and how much you can score.
Many fans compare scores being made in Eng or Ind to UAE. On slow wickets it’s difficult to play your shots, expecting boundaries and scores like some other venues is an unrealistic expectation.
England pitches are very similar to the wicket today
I dont believe its quite possible.
England pitches are flat and true.
Would like to see how Australia bat before accepting the assumption the best you can do is score 70 to 75 odd off 18 overs on this track.
I have seen NZ bat here in last ODI series played in UAE, don’t remember any team scoring 300 +
Okayish innings from Shan. If he can average this every match that would be good.
Just needs to improve his off-side game a bit.
Would Sharjeel or Fakhar have batted the same way?
Or any modern opener??
No they're not. The pitches are quicker and bouncier making strokeplay and hitting through the line much easier.England pitches are very similar to the wicket today
If he averages 40 every innings with a SR of 60, Pakistan arent gonna be doing much at start of the innings.
Depends. Lord's, Southampton, Cardiff and maybe Taunton are very similar to this pitch. No they're not. The pitches are quicker and bouncier making strokeplay and hitting through the line much easier.
Guys, which channel thry are telecasting in India ?
Cardiff yes but the rest are phattas.Depends. Lord's, Southampton, Cardiff and maybe Taunton are very similar to this pitch.
None
People seem to forget these UAE pitches are low and some what "sticky" is the best way to describe it. Rarely are their the mammoth scores we see elsewhere. Pakistan getting around 250 should be enough.
The only exception i can remember is when pak scored like 360 vs nz in 2016 i think

2014
The only reason for that might be Afridi.
I have no scorecard but I am assuming Afridi was in the team.
The ban on Smith & Warner has helped the IPL Franchisees (Key players for their sides!)
Lol he hit 3 sixes but after getting a life he will never learn
He is good for these 30s and 40s
Can't remember last time our bench strength was this good
Haris Sohail is struggling big time here. And he is not struggling because of the wicket.
I don't see him playing ahead of either Hafeez or Malik.
Umar akmal already seems better than the t20 hack asif
Not really. He has struggled for any sort of momentum. Malik has a power game, which Haris clearly lacks. Although Haris is a much superior player of pace.Easily better than Malik. Hafeez has been lethal at 2 drop
Playing Asif Ali in ODI's was an incredible blunder
Anwar Ail is a better batsmen than Asif. Umar is definitely a major improvement
add Babar at 3, Haris at 4, Umar at 5, and you have a great looking side
Haris Sohail needs a big series, this is his only way to convince the management on why he is perfect for the No.4 spot in the World Cup.

Exactly. This is our middle-order post-WC.
Haris and Umar are the best rotators of strike and players of spin in Pakistan.
