Pakistan vs Australia | 3rd T20I | Dubai | Oct 28, 2018 | Pakistan Innings

PAK should try Zeeshan Malik against NZ - at least in squad; looks far better than Farhan & natural striker of the ball.

In T20 or ODI? Even though it won't happen and for arguments sake if it does then I'll have him to be tried in ODI rather than T20 first.

This is where our T20 team lack, instead of increasing run rate from 9 to 10 and upward instead it has reduced to 7.5, that too while having all 10 wickets available, this is unacceptable

MMHS I don't think Farhan is international material, have to many flaws in his basic game,,, do you think he will survive?

I am not convinced either, but it's T20, guy is playing first game, so probably unfair to draw line right now. But, I won't be backing on him for ODIs.

Nah winning matches is more important than concentrating on this issue!PPers logic!

The domestic pitches I guess but not sure. This crouching stance is becoming our national stance.

If the pitches were seaming and so on it's understandable but when they are so dead and so on, it's hard to see why so many of these guys are crouching down in their stance rather than stand still and a bit up right.

So Farhan is basically an opening batsman who plays similar to a bowler who can bat?

Massive 6 there. He can clearly hit it big but just needs to be a bit more selective with his shot. Could be just trying to play big in order to impress.

Farhan has the ability to hit big but his stance, lack of footwork and balance are hampering him. Needs to spend a few months with good coaches.

Grant Flower enjoying the free ride he's goes on to have for the last few years without making much difference in the side.

Selfish batting at its best, any other team would score Atleast 80 in last 8 with all ten wicket in hand, no matter the pitch,,, but we most likely wont.

Our domestic garbage if it is throwing "batsmen" like Farhan who are can only hit but have zero other aspects to their game

I am talking about ODI also - T20s are not the place to judge young batsmen.

Very dissapointing. This was the big hitting opener Pakistan were calling for??

Pretty extreme innings from Farhan come to an end

Way too nervous in his debut game.

He will get another chance and needs to improve lot or he's finished in int cricket.

It was just his 2nd match and that in a format he hasnt done anything exceptional. So needs to be given some time and guidance

Its a working day in UAE and series is already decided. Crowd was definitely better on Friday

I'd not squander a single penny over seeing these players in action keeping in mind the meek display they put up in Asia Cup in general & against India in particular on the same venues. Therefore, I don't blame the Pakistani expats.

They aren't dead. Look at the scorecards from the last 4-5 FC seasons. We have had matches which lasted 4 sessions, that's 4 innings in 4 sessions. For the most part our FC pitches are seamer's paradise.

Atleast score 150 here, hopefully its not another cluster of wickets coming

I get the impression he is one of those glorified PP legends who will always be called for no matter what...

Harris Sohail
Sahibzada Farhan
Hammad Azam
Saddaf Hussain
Fawad Alam

These dumbsters can't even experiment in a dead rubber, this was ideal situation for Asif or Fahim to show there batting skills, but we have young prodigy the one blessed in all facets of life not only game.

The pitches have slightly improved but one does have to question the coaching capabilities of the people in Pakistan's domestic arena. The quality of coaching in Pakistan has never been great but it's now that things need to change drastically if they want to improve the domestic level of Pakistan's domestic cricket.

Yes he was glorified more than required but he is a better player than what he has shown till now.

Exactly especially when he's started off well in that format too but it won't happen.

I has to happen.

One of the biggest decline I have seen in last 3 decades is PAK's sports journalism. I can recall in my school days, one of my Mamu used to subscribe Cricketers (?), a Pakistani cricket magazine, with Omer Quarishi as CE; and that was one of the best cricket magazine I have subscribed in long list.

These days, PAK's sports/cricket jurnos are worse than our tools (most of those are politically recruited and assigned "sports desk", because that's the easiest job ....), therefore often PAK team management get away in chaos. But, this will change - people will be made accountable, at least cricket is what Imran knows better - he won't tolerate a repeat of Asia Cup for sure. To my surprise, I have seen Saud to be promoted at 3 from 7, after severe bashing at PP and the recent A team is quite decent than usual. Won't be surprised if Zeeshan gets a call for Lions series.

Aa ja k hona 150 he hai, wo b ro ro k, it's only Pak abating which can bore you to death even in t20s.

Hafeez is pure garbage, don't know when will we get rid of his cursed presence in our international outfit.

Malik 'I beat up slow bowlers only' needs a few sixes against spinners

Hafeez deserves to be in LOIs squad till the world cup atleast :viru

That magazine back in the day was the best thing that Pakistanis had available to them. Shame that it isn't around any longer.

You're right about Pakistan's sports journalism now as it's completely one dimensional and politically run as you say.
