Instead of giving a speech bazid should have just said that malik has contacts. As simple as that
 
i disagree completely with bazid khans squad...asif ali no way a one day player cant even bat for 5 overs in 20 20....mohamad abbas not a one day player even its in england..rizwan is not good enough
 
Need to get rid of Khawaja, he's the best batsman Australia have and he will make us pay. Bring on Shinwari who threatened him the most.

Imad needs to stop bowling Hasnain, this is too systematic for my liking and I say this as Imad's biggest fan on this forum! You don't need to wear Hasnain out, think out of the box, bring in Shinwari!

Good... Imad should have been captain from the the first game. It took an 'injury' to finally get it. After WC he would be the most obvious candidate to take over from Sarf.

Funny the only reason Imam can be dropped is because of 'high fever' and not his garbage performance in the series to date.

If performance was the criteria then sarfraz wouldn't even make Karachi team let alone be the captain of Pakistan team.
 
four matches for yasir shah, still cant get going.. he is not an ODI bowler, sooner they come to conclusion is better for the team

His 116 ball 100 on that flat track lost us the match .Rizzo scored 115 with better strike rate but no one talks about that.

Inzi is there in UAE enjoying free holidays.And you should know what it takes to be in pak teamand that is nephew or Seniority.
 
waqar younis squad is better than bazids for sure even though how you fit both hafeez and malik in when hafeez wont be playing much cricket

How on earth can u drop such a straight forward chance .. dropped Khawaja as well off Imad.. just when I thought Rizwan was a better keeper than Sarfi..

Having two slips and then bowling that googly was a smart tactic whether it was Yasir or Imad.
 
These freebies wickets of Yasir will give Inzi to put him World Cup squad. Inzi is too stubborn and doesn't want a better player in the team. So selfish

Hasnain is showing a lot of inexperience, although he is a good prospect. Wahab is somewhat more finished similar product. Asif Ali is probably the best hitter right now, Umar Akmal not doing much to stake a claim hasn't improved.

I would like to see Hasnain or Shinwari getting a couple of overs to extract bit of reverse
 
One thing is certain shows how much more lethal Shadab is in ODI after Yasir has played this series. Although Shadab has this issue of bowling long hops and missing his length, he has a lot more variations to offer.

Well if it comes down to choosing between Wahab and Hasnain, I would rather have Hasnain in my squad than Wahab who has absolutely no future left in international cricket. Also, we saw what happened to him in the champions trophy against India. One of the biggest reasons for us winning the champions trophy was wahab getting injured and junaid coming in his place otherwise we might have not even made it to semis.
On Asif Ali, I would also have him in my squad and even Umer Akmal in place of Malik if Omar performs in these 2 odis and proves his fitness by passing the fitness test.

He is technically more sound batsman than Hafeez but unfortunately he doesnt have the power game and Hafeez provides that and we are already lacking in that department.

As a consolidator he is more reliable than Malik in my opinion but against spinners he doesnt have the same skills at the moment that Malik have but against pace haris is much superior.

Yes Shadab is good as per Pakistani standards. But not even close to Rashid Khan, Kul-Cha, Tahir or even Sodhi.
 
It would give me profound joy if Harry and Saad guide us home today with substantial knocks. That would mean Malik's place in the side would be in question.


Bobby is a sure starter, Harry is also 90% going to start most games (subject to fitness), if Saad can slot in at 5 and Prof at 6 I think we are set for the WC.
 
Good move to bring in pacers, they can extract with of reverse here

Hafeez and Haris to play that 5th bowler role?
 
Would you expect Malik "winning is not important" to bring back Shinwari (or any other pacer) to bring a parternship in the 32nd over? He would have spinners bowling upto the 40th over and then pacers to bowl the last 10. Same set pattern.

Rashid Khan is hyped up over T20 performances, he has only performed against minnows in ODI's. Shadab is much better bowler than Sodhi and Rashid in ODI's. I would rate Chahal as the best leggie right now followed by Tahir and Shadab.
