Pretty unconvincing in the end. Credit goes to the Bangla spinners for keeping it so tight in the middle overs, and ofcourse how can I forget Sallu whose innings helped Bangladesh a lot. Poor Bangladeshis, if they hadnt got Salman out they would have had a sure shot chance of winning

Afridi showed signs of returning back to form. Unlucky not to stay there longer. Hafeez was playing well until he had a Nazir-like brainfart and threw his wicket away. Middle-order didnt do too well. Nazir kept his cool in the end which was important. No.6/7 is the ideal place for this guy. He can come in and slog when required, and when we are in a sticky situation, he can knock the ball around like he did today. I hope the management try this out in the next game

Ok not the best performance, pretty lacklustre as cricinfo says but we were never going to lose this game and there was only ever going to be one winner......though I am sure there were a few wrist slitters here.

Good that we got this poor performance out of our system before the semis and good that we get to stay in Cape Town.

One thing i have to say about Bangladesh. Their left arm spinners are so irritating, all the do is bowl flat without flight and dart it in at the stumps. No wonder they arent easy to get away. 2 or 3 left arm spinners in their squad giving them 12 good overs, thats gold.

Even if he hits a high shot to the boundary (highly implausible) catch it and purposely step over the ropes for a six. If a fielder has a chance to run him out, better to aim at the umpire not the wickets.
