Asia Cup should not be scrapped but its quite amazing that since last Asia Cup they havent lost a single match. And even without Kohli I dont know if they will. The 2nd best team of the tournament we are and they have literally thrashed us both the times.

Apart from the deadwood in the middle - dhoni, rayudu....etc. - India have a weakness against left armer pacers Starc and Amir to be precise. Hope they are overcoming that weakness slowly and surely. Ruthless performance from India and that is what to expect considering how consistent they have been for some years now.

For Pakistan, it isnt as bad a team as last few matches showed. Losing doesnt make you a failiure, its the lack of consistency and focus.

Even if Pak would have won this match it couldnt have hided the fact that Pak has been an inconsistent team in LOIs for good time now. If you are 80 and inconsistant then you might even get beaten by a 60 when you will perfrom 50, other day you might beat a 90 by being 95. But thats not trait of a top side. To become a top side Pak needs to give their best each match and raising their benchmark slowly, you wont necessarily win each time but will be among top teams if they can increase their professionalism.

Players simply need to work hard and there is no short cut for that. No matter how much talented you are, you cant excel without keeping your head grounded, remaining focused and working hard.
