Just to ads pathans are the ones who has done it multiple tikes in the past, they are unbeatable in such scenarios, I hope Modi yakea back his tacticts. Though I have not used guns till now.

If state of Pakistan calls for jihad, majority of Pakistanis will be marching towards Indian border as it will become a religious obligation. This will be an opportunity of a life time if India attacks us. No need to worry brothers.

Look at the mentality of the Indian PM. His whole philosophy has been built on boosting Hindu pride. If the fate of war or peace lies in his hands, then we shouldn't be surprised if his tender ego demands blood, especially after his air force has been humiliated. The best bet for a cooling off is if the Indian military is making key decisions.

You can expect mujahidun from everywhere to come to Pakistan's aid as well. All China needs to do is offer diplomatic support and keep the US out of it. India are shooting themselves in the foot here. How senseless of them.

I am not saying he is a liar or not. I don't even know the guy I am just saying that in such event what are standard miliatry practice. there are tens of thousands of military personnel involved right now if everyone starts calling and telling their families we have been told enemy is planning something a mass hysteria and panic situation can arise. This is reason why during war times military has minimal contact with civilians.

Bringingnin IAF or my nationality in reply to everything comment and taking cheap digs reflects your maturity that's about it.

As you can see, everyone and their dog in Pakistan knows that India is planning something. So the guy was right.

Most other flights have been cancelled or diverted given that Pakistan closed it airspace for any flights that also flew in Indian airspace. It makes sense that air traffic is very low.
 
Sometimes it's better to remain silent and see things through, though it might be hard in the age of social media and a constant need for attention. There is no need to spread minute by minute updates.

In a military tense situation a couple of lights turned off shouldn't be a sign of major concern. Let's have faith in those tasked with our defense and remain calm and patient.

100% agree here - twitter needs to restrict sharing of unverified information from unreliable sources.

It has turned off its ADS-B transponder.

The IL-76 is not a goods transporter, but a tanker that facilitates mid-air refueling.
 
Anyone who thinks a full out war will occur between India and Pakistan anytime soon needs a reality check. This is standard maneuvering and show of force between the two nation. I can assure you the US and to lesser extend Russia and China would have already stepped in if they thought there was a real possibility of all out war. Even Turkey and Saudi Arabia would at least make a effort to cool things if things were really getting on the brink of war.

Well that would be ideal but since we can't control twitter and can't have them play the mom's role for us, it's up to us to use some common sense and stop treating everything as a movie. I too want the latest updates and news as soon as possible however patience and a calm head is necessary especially since the defense of the nation isn't in our hands. There is very little of the current situation under the average citizen's direct control.

So many Twitter claims from yesterday turned out to be fake and many will be too in the future. No need to take them seriously. No need to chest thump upon hearing a news favoring our side, nor any need to cause panic or hysteria upon hearing a less favorable news. In the long term constant use of unreliable info would only lead to more uncertainty and less clarity.

Just like how DG ISPR briefed the nation after India's intial agression and how he informed the nation after Pakistan's response, tomorrow too if necessary he will keep the nation updated.

Besides unverified information we shouldn't be a source of information to the enemy. This is a public place and not a private guest house. Anybody can read what's being shared. There is no need to share which aircraft you saw flying over which city. There is no need to share a video of tank movements. We don't want to make it easy for the enemy to track the movement of our forces. And we most certainly shouldn't be sharing any kind of info or message we received from a relative from a military background.

Of course the enemy has it's own technology to do this job for him but we shouldn't be making their job any easier. We shouldn't become a source of open-intelligence which the enemy might use to its own advantage.
 
Let's pray nothing more than what has occurred happens and that the extremism of Modi and his nation could, otherwise there is mutually assured destruction on its way.

India claim it has already eliminated alleged 300 terrorists. And if they want to take out more terrorists, they won't get any either this time, because even if there were actually terrorists inside Pakistani territory they would be constantly changing their locations in current circumstances.

Conquering Pakistan is also not an option because at that stage nukes will come to play.

There is no military purpose, any further action will be purely to massage Indian hurt pride and salvage Modi's reputation.

Heard three loud bangs here in Defence. Going by Twitter, several people in DHA did indeed hear them. But most likely cause is some kinda fireworks (yes nutjobs do those at odd hours) or sonic booms.

India needs to be really really careful coming move from India will decide what will happen with the region and with whole world, I am really worried.
 
If the purpose of the Indian army is to eliminate so called terror camps, those camps will be in the AJK region, not in Karachi, what is the purpose of proceeding to other areas of Pakistan?

India boasts of its $417 billion foreign exchange reserves but in the event of a serious conflict, the Indian foreign investors are the one who are going to get out of India as happened in 2002, so really does Pakistan have more to lose in comparison to India?
