saffie strategy to give us poor bowlers on a dead pitch and then stun us in the first test with a wicked pitch.

i think he is arriving today or something..stayed back longer because of his dad's passing.

when Hafeez was there Adams was going at 8 rpo
 
I wonder if they will declare this evening ??..probably not... let other batsmen get batting practise i suppose...
 
Regardless of how flat the pitch is we have not lost a single wicket yet and have scored 330 runs so this is an excellent sign.

Exactly. and Rest of SA have some useful bowlers as well.

All Inzi's fault. He was getting jealous of Hameed so he stood on the balcony and started doing a belly dance in order to distract him. It worked and Hameed got himself out! Disgraceful stuff from Inzy. He must be sacked immediately.

Faisal Iqbal in. It's all Inzi's fault. Inzi is obviously scared of Morkel, Adams and co. and sent in Iqbal to protect him.

He will come in at 11, fake a back injury, and then fly home for the rest of the tour. Then we can all sit here and laugh at him.

The mota aloo must be removed from the team!

even though its a flat pitch, its great to see that we only lost one wicket so far. and also openers got runs too. even on a flat pitch, you're expected to lose 3 - 5 wickets by this point.
 
whatever may be the reason but its a commendable job scoring nearly 400 runs in a day loosing just 1 wicket even if its against a club side but here all the players r first class players with some even Test player...I think Pakistan r ready for a fight with the South Africans!

lets see how Asif & Co. bowl on this track!
 
Excellent day for Pakistan. We scored 400 runs in 90 overs for the loss of only Hameed, and even he made 79 runs.

Good to see Hafeez/Farhat making tons, Hameed making 79, and Younis contributing with 74*.
 
if Pakistan's batting click in the Test series just like in this game then God save South Africa from Pakistani thrashing!
 
What a day for Pakistan. Farhat/Hafeez/Yasir Hameed all getting big runs. it at least gets the confidence going if nothing else.

It may well be a flat pitch BUT to score 400 runs with the loss of 1 wicket is still a good effort - hopefully it will give our openers the belief that they can succeed here

Also it was good of Inzi to not bat up the order, it seemed like there was runs for the taking BUT being the unselfish person he is he allowed the youngsters to get some practice in - excellent stuff by Inzi, what a legend :14: :14: :14:

Gul also gone...still no sign of Inzi..Shahid Nazir in..seems like Inzi has injured himself...

prospect not looking good for the first test with Shoaib & Yousuf already out & now Inzi also seems to hav picked up an injury

If Inzi doesn't play the first Test then he will loose all my respect...always does that before a big series....he did the same against Australia in last two series & now it seems he is preparing to pretend another injury for this test series!
 
Inzi bhai now out in the middle :D

seems like he is considering a new batting position for himself in the Test series :))
