Pakistan have lived upto their reputation of being unpredictable. A swashbuckling partnership from the Akmal brothers is what it took to lift themselves out of a hole, after being 23/3 in 7 overs. Afridi chipped in with a useful cameo as well. Pak have done well to come back into the contest after at one stage it looked like they would be restricted to around 120 or so. The SA bowlers got a touch complacent after a good start but a poor spell from van der Merwe opened the floodgates for Pak to post a competitive total. One would also get a feeling that Pak threw it away towards the end as they lost wickets consistently after Umar Akmal and Afridi fell. It should still be an interesting chase, join us shortly.....
