ODI's are probably Shehzad's worst format... Need Azhar Ali back.
He's rubbish in all formats

The new kit looks nice.
Complete waste of 2 overs.
I get what Shehzad is trying to do - settle in and then go big. But statistically, he will sometimes fail like this, after wasting lots of deliveries in the powerplay. Shehzad will make sure Pakistan always miss their opportunity in the powerplay. At least Azhar can take singles.
Neither should open, nor the 3rd one picked for this series. In 10 overs PP, need to open with 2 free scoring players - Umar won't do worse than any of the 3, if he can run on his feet.
the name & number at back should be in black or dark grey. yellow makes the reading little difficult
Ahmed Shehzad needs to be dropped for good, completely hopeless player, after so much exposure at the International level and he's still at this point. Completely destroys the momentum at the top of the innings, they should have opened with M. Hafeez instead.
Babar Playing tests
Babar shouldn't play this match after flop in test series. He is trying to gain form and it will cost us this game. Difference between so-called professional coach and smart coach
I havent seen a coach dropping a player who averages 53 with a sr of 88, just bcz he is out of form in tests.
imagine Shahzad and Azhar opening
Looking at Babar's struggle while timing, I feel it's usual UAE wicket, extremely slow with a low, spongy bounce. What a shame for cricket.
Beautiful batting by golden boy Babar
is 300 a par score in this pitch?
That's different issue - not only related to wicket. SRL's attack is poor while PAK will bowl under dew. But, Fakhar has hit 2 boundaries in almost 10 overs, which should be indicative.
Accoridng to Russel Arnold there has been no dew in the day and night test so it isnt expected
36/1 in 10.
Awful start.![]()
An okish start considering the slow wicket
Probably 240 will be enough here, unless it dews like rain.
Yes might get a few more if there are wickets in hand for the last 5, 6 overs
