but srilanka is not one of them but we have defintely improved .need work on some areas like 2 iddle order bats and one opener to accompant Fakhar.and one hitter ..hafiz has to go and so AZhar..
 
Same bowler destroyed the innings batting in one of the matches recently so Malik playing him quite well.
 
S. Malik needs to bat until the end, if we are to restore respectability to this innings. Watch and learn, B. Azam, watch and learn!

We're gonna score 275-ish if Maliks keeps going like this along with Babar.
If Imad and/or Sarfi can hit it long then we might even consider 300.
 
Shoaib Malik is probably the best player of spin in LOI's in the world right now

The thing is my friend, you need to take the entire situation into perspective. Pakistan were not going to just turn up to the CT to job for the rest. They had to do something to ensure return as champions. Going by the recent run of results and the way this team was shaping up, and all of its deficiencies at this level, they therefore sincerely required a fluke or a flash in a pan performance to win it. There have been tournaments when the squad, recent results and the culture of cricket has been solid in which Pakistan have turned up and just embarresed. So tbf, it was only going to be a fluke in the first place if they were to win it. But they did the job and the rest is history

I didnt know he made that prediction, but he is definetly a very good poster.
 
C'mon Babar Azam. You're 60 off 90 now. Do you think you can make 40 off just another 30 balls...?
 
So if teams win bilateral they are jam odis and they win win a world tournament they are flukes.. You cant really make everyone happy.

Now that Younis has retired, Malik is the spin god in Pakistan. He has retired from Tests but he would be quite prolific in the UAE/Asia at number 5 or 6.

It was the WT20 2009 all over again. The Hasan Parnell wicket was the "Afridi catch vs NZ" moment that turned things around.
 
Imad should come next. Left-hander will annoy SL. Also, he is a better hitter than Saifi.
 
It seems after every win the Pakistan cricket team should ask a certain poster "sir was it fluke or not" :))
 
Watching this leg spinner bowl, I realised that a a batsman from NZ, AUS and England would actually try to reverse sweep him out of the ground
 
Kinda ironic that all of PP wanted oldies Malik and Hafeez gone ASAP but without their innings we would be struggling to get to 220

If babar gets a 100 it will be one of worst ODI inns, everyone else is scoring a run a ball yet hes batting like a snail still.

He said after the SAF win and SL’s chase over India that our stars are lining up just like 2009 World T20.

Considering we had to beat a SL team that has always been our bunny and only 2 more games in KO stage - it was not out of the blue prediction...
 
Classic Selfish Malik on display lol. After hitting a six of spinner willl only make singles and not play any shot against fast bowlers until 45-47th over if he survives by that time.

That is the way an experienced sensible batsmen plays and one should play. After hitting a six take a single. He's not playing in last 5 overs where he'll hit everything

Babar needs to hit few 4s and 6s. 250 is not enough. Anything under 260 Sri Lanka will chase it with ease
 
Babar needs to develop some hard hitting skills. He can't accelerate. He is looking for his century now when we need him to start hitting sixes, he is looking for singles.
 
Babar Azam looks like such a lethargic batsman... can't even hit that for 4
 
Pak should look to hit big now. Lots of wickets in hand.

310-320 should be the target.
 
So if you block Babar Azam's scoring avenues, he looks like Ahmed Shehzad
