YK great behind the stumps. Makes you think what Kamran Akmal was doing in the team all that time
 
I have never seen it so impossible for out bowlers to take wickets. Even against SA opportunities came but we didn't take them ,but here nothing. Absolute patta
 
Lead is only 176. Pakistan will need to bowl them out by end of today.
 
If SL don't get bowled out by end of today, then lead will be 250.

Srilankans are not playing positively for a win but rather looking to safe them selves before anything. I feel it will be a draw if Pakistan dont manage to collapse.

i think SL will be happy to draw this test. i do not think they will try today.

250 will be a safe lead ??? I dont think Srilankans are playing brave enough for the win they are rather saving the match and will not declare with 250 lead on this wicket and give Pakistan whole day to bat chasing 250 would be too much of a risk for there quality of bowlers and this wicket.

True likes of Shafiq,Akmal,Hafeez should be kicked on the backside for this any thing like a half decent 30-40 from them would have done it for Pakistan.
 
Need to try different tactics. Maybe using Hafeez and Rahat to bowl them dry and hope for rash shot?

SL are already 5 wkts down and the lead is only 176. So you want 'em to start slogging ??? This is a test match, in case you didn't know. :facepalm: Btw, wait till SL get to a lead of 200, then you will see some fireworks.

Shafiq is my favorite player but i am losing trust on him. he is really disappointing me, performing one inning of the series is not enough. he is not consistence.

I have no idea why hafeez given chance ahead of Azhar.

Well played Sri Lanka....they have neutralised the Pakistani bowling attack...

Ajmal and Junaid are the only world class bowlers there

Bhatti has pace but, needs to control it ala Mohammad Sami

Rehman is being missed badly, as he would have applied serious pressure to the Lankans
 
Wow just woke up and the game has changed massively in 4 hours. I was certain yesterday Pakistan would win but now I think Sri Lanka will

Possibility of an unexciting draw but Pak batting will most likely collapse under pressure like they ALWAYS do and fail to chase down the 200 and something total

They are playing on the road against a team batting with fairly negative/defensive mindset I will not blame them.
 
Now is the time for a big aggressive session from Sri Lanka to take the game from Pakistan completely .
 
Why is Rameez so bad yet so good when he works for Sky TV in Eng vs Pakistan games.
 
This pitch sucks. Even if they get a lead of 300, we can probably chase it.
 
Cant take this nemore the countless refreshing of the score page just gets more depressing, promising myself nit to check the score anymore today!
 
This is Test cricket Bhatti. It is not mickey mouse cricket. It is damn hard. If you can come through this it will do you the world of good.
 
Anyone remember 2nd Test in 2012? Mahela declared but didn't go after the target.

What is the game plan ?? either they take risk or this is a draw they are 5 down not 8-9 down and now they are doing exactly as I suggested trying to get some runs so before getting defensive try and understand cricket your self. If you cant milk bowlers on this wicket with 5 wickets in hand and lead already closing 200 then it is better to stick to draw and dont talk about winning.

Yep, some people say that SL are playing defensive and going for a draw. :))) Why would anybody wanna go for a draw from this kinda commanding position. SL are clearly on top here. I guess some people are speaking outta frustration here

Are you watching the game or not ? Can't u see how they are accelerating the innings now. They seem to know what they are doing. But you surely don't know what you are talking about. How the hell did you come to a conclusion that Sri Lanka are a team with a defensive mindset ???
 
SL should declare at 300 run lead and start aiming at the Pakistani stumps
