50 for babar, hes looked pretty poor against spinners. But runs are runs in context of this game.

Haven't seen much on Monday morning, but CI tells 1st 5 wickets went to Lankan Marshall, Lillee & Botham - on an Abu Dhabi dross that doesn't deserve to be ca;;ed cricket wicket. If still it's joke against spinners, then I must be missing some show.

On this wicket, 180 could become a difficult chase for SL.

Mate I dont know if we dominated the pacers either. Fakhar looked good but he missed plenty of easy boundary balls himself. You cant expect a run from Shahzad so lets not go there. Malik's cute run downs to third man for the single were going to catch up with him at some point.
 
Whenever the top 3 succeed, we tend to win. However, with Ahmed "walking wicket" Shehzad we don't give ourselves much of a chance - today Fahkar got out early, hence game over ... predictable batting collapse.
 
Can't tell whether babar is selfish or selfless. I mean why should he not wish to go back to dressing room and have a refreshing drink like the other batsmen? Why he should he be the one to save the sinking ship?
 
Shadab clearly not picking the wrongun, hes been on the back foot twice against it

If Babar can get a hundred here, it will be one of the best hundreds scored in the UAE in an ODI. Bowling friendly conditions, the entire top order falling around him and the UAE heat. Lets see.
 
It's a horrible pitch but certainly not one where you should be 124/6. Pakistan have themselves to blame only.

I have seen enough cricket to say that the pitch isn't to be blamed. It's the same old Pakistan. They can be 110 all out on the most friendliest batting paradise.

The hate for Banar from certain posters here is amazing. You have a guy aged 22-23 outperforming all the seniors and these jokers keep bringing up his SR. Just take his age into consideration, he is showing a maturity no other players are doing in this team.

Bhai aek zamana aur bhi bura tha... Zulqarnain Haider came at 6 and Wahab Riaz at 7.


Aek aur zamana tha jub Amir would come in at 7.. bhai buhat buhat boray din dekhain hain Pakistan cricket mein. Aj kal tou phir bhi guzara hai

Last 5 overs 27/0. If Babar and Shadab can do this, there really is no excuse for the top batters to not be able to rotate the strike. Anything less than 225, its SL's game.

Bhai Shadab often used to bat one-down for Pak u19. He is not a tailender :danish


It's just the kaptaan and coach have never trusted his batting that's why he bats so low.

Still remember Zulqarnain Haider. What a drama he was. Honestly, the 2010 tour had more drama than Star Plus kay dramay.

Ok too much blocking by Babar... Shadab is managing to rotate the strike alot easier
 
Single off last bowl... I remember during my gully cricket days I would refuse to take single off last ball if striker had blocked the full over :ashwin
 
Ironically Shady is alot more fluent than Bobby at this stage... maybe Babar is playing with more pressure knowing that he is the key wicket, while Shadab has a freer mind

and if he did not do it i will kick him out of my team but or will go to another team for the next match..
 
Our bowlers will enjoy bowling on this later, whether we have enough runs defend is a different matter.

Okay this settles it, Imad needs to sit out for Fahim in the next game. Shady has clearly outperformed him with the bat.
