Pakistan still win this test match...if they take wicket of thease...they need to give amir the more overs.
 
Asghar not getting a chance even in this test match as he is no quality as per the team bowling coach so why is he even in the squad then ??

Just as i said, one more wicket has gone and Sri Lanka tail has started, what's the use of those stored 2 reviews now. If Chandimal used that review and batted through Sri Lanka could have posted a mammoth total.
 
I am really enjoying Perera's little blockbuster innings... each run must be a nail in the hearts of the pakistani bowlers. 28 already off 24. Nothing demoralizes a bowler than seeing runs scored quickly
 
We should attack Karunaratne as he is being watchful because he wants a double century
 
Positive batting from SL now. Going 5 runs an over in the last 10-12 overs. If they do it for another 20 overs, they will be in strong position with more time to bowl out Pakistan.
 
Brilliant shot from Dilruwan. These are the type of situations Yasir doesn't do well in. When batsmen can go after him when they are in a good position.
 
Poor Yasir, I hope he doesnt get injured. He is being grossly over-bowled. Nearly 1/3rd of total number of overs.
 
Our only threat in UAE is Yasir. He has been found out of late with poor teams like windies and Lanka winning test matches against us.

Imagine the Indian batting line up on these tracks and the phanty Yasir would get

Riaz looks unbalanced... not in rhythm.. Looks like he hasnt bowled in a while... Bending too much.. all over the place.

Lankans batting with some purpose. Surely they cannot lose from this position.

The only result will be a Pak loss or a draw.

Congrats Lankans on a series win in UAE. Not easy for touring teams to win there.

Really bad loss for Pak it looks like. Losing to this Srilankan side with newbies and lollipop bowling is terrible.

Srilanka need to be bowled out for 50 in second innings if Pak have to win this. This match is heading for a sl win or a draw. Series is gone.
 
in a way it's good, all good things comes to an end one day, and from here on it can be only upward without any added pressure of preserving any record, but what hurts is it should have been vs a good or worthy team that this streak end and secondly we have committed so many unforced errors from teams selection to batting order. and you don't expect such childish decisions in a pro setup.
 
I was surprised when SL got bundled out cheaply in the last test. Current lot is known for doing better in the 2nd innings than the 1st innings. Pakistan has to score really quickly to have even a sniff at levelling the series. They don't look like taking a wicket either.
 
SL looking to shut Pakistan out if the match completely before going for the win here. They don't want a repeat of 2013.
 
Need to try and stop these singles . They are very frustrating.

Also Sri Lanka have shown the importance of having left hand/right hand combination at the crease.

Only PCB think tank will pack a side with right handers. (Before Arthur's time this was).
 
Lakmal and Pradeep are mediocre bowlers. We must look to be positive against them as Dilruwan and Hearth won't give much away. So attacking Lakmal and Pradeep will put SL under some pressure.
 
Agree with Waqar on playing Bilal Asif if Sarfraz and Arthur didn't want to play Asghar.
 
Spinners have been most effective throughout the two tests but Mickey Arthur sahab continues to play pacer.

Pathetic captaincy. Why is the field so spread out for Herath? He isn't a good batsmen. He tries his best but he isn't great. We should be looking to get him out as well as Lakmal.
 
It's sad it has to end like this boys but it seems our proud unbeaten UAE record is in its last days :(

A win seems out of the equation if they bat till end of day cuz we all know our batsmen are incapable of batting at more than 2.5 an over

No. If anyone has ever watched Sarfraz captain he prefers spinners. No way he would willingly go into a match willingly with two spinners

Anyways Arthur has more authority since the fluke CT win. And he is making stupid decisions

It's ridiculous and frankly embarrassing that he has a negative win loss ratio in UAE after facing just Sri Lanka and West Indies

Exactly, it will be foolish to believe these news reports, local players will always have better contacts in media to try to push blame on the coach.
