Fawad should play at 6 in Asia and a fast bowling allrounder like Fahim/Yamin outside Asia.

Think Babar will do well playing along Haris and Usman. He is taking too much pressure now and not playing natural game.
 
time to close the tv doston, pathetic series by Pakstan, can't believe they didn't go with an off spinner, what is the even point of having 2 off spinners in your squad?
 
Off spinners are always more effective. Yasir Shah is being found out in these dead pitches now
 
Facing Herath looks so easy, but he is at you all the time, you miss, he hits.
 
Sarfraz needs to take some responsibility today. Step up and score a hundred. You're not a kid anymore.

One observation, Pakistani player don't stress a lot on fitness or hitting Gym often!
 
Azhar Ali is and always will be an inconsequential player. He will probably end up with the most irrelevant 8,000+ runs and 25+ hundreds.

I don't have much love for Younis Khan but Azhar will never come close to 25% of his match-winning efforts, or Inzamam or Miandad or MoYo, even though he might surpass them all statistically.

There is a good reason why he is not rated highly by the general audience. He will never enter the discussion of top-tier players.

so true they don't look fit.. If you tell them to make 5 to 6 rounds continously around cricket stadium with, I bet half of done won't even complete it !

Azhar is far limited in strokeplay to be among the best , in top tier.

He is rated more because rest of Pakistan batsmen are below average.
 
Select mediocrity expect mediocrity losing to Sri Lanka at home 2-0 not selecting 2 spinners no dynamic batsman in the top order grade 2 level opener in Shan the selecters and coaches have earned their salary.

I understand Sarfaraz hasn't scored a ton in a while but don't the same rules apply to the other top six batsman? Or all responsility lies on the number seventh? What has Babar Azam does in his career? What has Shafiq done in the last two years? We keep saying Azhar this Azhar that but he has hardly kicked on in this series when he was needed... What about the openers? They are only there to blunt the new ball?

Just saw Bobby's dismissal. Garbage way to get out reminded so much of his cousin. Should be immediately dispatched to domestics, test cricket isn't his cup of tea as of now.

You're really mixing up Intent with Responsibility. Sarfraz has the right mindset but does not possess the responsibility of a mature batsman. Dickwella has shown throughout this series that with the right intent and responsibility, you can score quickly and bat long as well.

Too many dabs and unnecessary flicks by Sarfraz hit straight keep the other shots until later.

He had trouble playing offies... Seems to have improved in that regard

Can't understand this approach by our tailenders of blocking. If the top order can't survive like that, what makes them think they can?
