What's new

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka | 3rd ODI | Abu Dhabi | Oct 18, 2017 | Pakistan Innings

Good decision.
All you had to see was the first initial take from behind to see it hit the ground.

So lucky, if he doesn't make it this time around, he should be bitterly disappointed.

One of the best back foot driver from PAK in last few years, and he could play Warne stepping inside out so well that next Test Warne put 5 men in covers. But guy didn't develop an inch from 2002, when his uncle got him even as ODI opener, not caring that a young middle order might get confused in his new role.

There was a lot of promise in him and I’m sure Maindad Wd hv seen that and that probably could have confused him too. I recently heard Faisal Iqbal stating how counter productive it was for him to have Maindad as his uncle which is true in my opinion.

If I were Shehzad i'd be feeling pranked by the universe

If you are a batsman and something like this happens your confidence must go through the roof. Similar to what happened to Fakhar in CT

Nervous nineties... hurry up lad I don't like Prof's intentions

Big Mac does this top Shehzad's innings in the WI?

Imam also needs 103 I believe to break the record for highest score by a Pakistani batsman on debut in ODI's Red Devil

India's batting isn't as beastly as it is made out to be. They have Kohli who is beastly. The rest are just supporting actors. Get the main gladiator and the rest act like fish out of water.

India has the lowest runrate amongst all test playing nations in the first 10 overs of ODI since the 2015 WC. Such beastly wow.

Rohit, Dhawan, Rehane, Dhoni, Pandey, Pandiya are supporting actors? ok...

Apart from Dhoni and Pandya recently... yes all of those are over-hyped. They still need Kohli to play a major part for India to win.

Muqabla sakht hai... Prof let the kid have his moment. Don't steal the limelight.

Salim Elahi was another exceptional talent. He was born about 5 years old, so debuted at 17, but he was exceptional store maker. His down fall was being a compulsive hooker, which Aussies brutally exposed probably from looking only at his stance & grip. He played many seasons in Dhaka League with bro Zahoor, but never gave the confidence that he had brain half the size of Umar Akmal. In his final stages, at official age of 27/28 he had 2 exceptional innings against a very good AUS & SAF attack.

Who you're arguing with yaar?

He used to call Sharjeel ''mediocrity personified'' when he was flaying Australia in Australia :))

Shaba Prof... sometimes tuk tuk is what we need from you.

Over to Imam... get to the ton in this over boy

This is turning out to be a farce, come on just get it over with. Enough time wastage already on a freaking bore-fest.

Saleem Elahi also struggled against Andy Caddick IIRC. Remember him being particularly poor in England.

Imagine if Lanka become sore losers and give all extras and deny Imam a century :))

MMHS you have an underrated sense of humour :ksi

Anybody remember Asim Kamal getting out on 99 against SA in his debut test innings.

I'm getting those vibes, but Allah na karay.

His square cut and flick towards mid wicket were a treat to watch. I still remember his over 250 run partnership with Razaq where they both scored a 100 in South Africa against that mighty South African attack just before 2003 World Cup. I really expected him to be the next big thing in our cricket but unfortunately it wasn’t to be. We just don’t know how to make players. There’s unfortunately no system where a player can iron out his deficiencie.

Imam has played that leg glance beautifully all night long and the lankan bowlers keep bowling at his pads!

I do ...and I also remember that he survived a certain lbw call on the very first ball he faced in that innings.
