Chill people lets not put pressure on the youngster so quick. He'll know himself what he done wrong.

I'm no great fan of Sarjeel, I'm not totally convinced looking at him playing on the crease, his technique will last. But the ways he's gotten out isn't so much his technique. He's just thrown it away or made the wrong decision.

He's shown enough to be persisted with. He's a positive batsman who can improve with more international matches. Should be backed.

I don't think Sajeel's technique is good enough for test cricket.

But watching him he has noticeable skills. He is very proactive in making runs. His shots are pretty good, and is able to play around the field. If he's raining in the runs in domestic, probably has the hunger to score a lot of runs too.

His judgement is pretty poor. Something which he can improve, especially with a decent coach.

Maqsood should've been sent in. Hafeez is not a top order bat Misbah :69:

sharjeel need to improve his feet movement that's all and i think after some match and practice he will be able to rectify that

Sharjeel is an average player like Jamshed.

Both can be an @30 - 32 average player at most.

Indeed agree, he's shown enough to be persisted with in LOI cricket. As I said I thought his technique would be a problem, I hate the way he stands at the crease, but watching him play think that isn't a problem, that's not why he's been getting out.

shehzhad has to anchor inns here and hopefully hafeez will play positively here.

Yeah I agree doesn't seem to be test level yet. Then again neither did sehwag. I wouldn't select him for test matches tbh but I wouldn't drop him from ODI's either.

He's brought good positivity to the team.

I pretty much agree with most of what you said.

Jamshed looks like no average player. Really disappointed how he's lost form. Good technique, proactive run maker. Good mentality too, doesn't get overawed by pressure. Just when he started losing form, the man went to pieces. His confidence went, his technique went to pieces. I dunno how things went bad for him so quickly. Even in the Champions Trophy in England he did decent, clear second best after Misbah. But since then, flat track or not, looked lost out there.

When he gets his form back in domestic cricket, think he'll come back a lot better.

He is good by Pakistan standards . Not too many Pakistan openers have averaged over 35
