Seems to be very windy, lots of noise coming through the stump mic, anyone around there can confirm? Might mean aerial shots are extra risky.
 
Umar Gul to Perera, OUT, a really rubbish ball from Gul slanting outside off as Kusal is tempted to have a go, but slams still straight to short cover, who takes a good catch. Looks like it was the Pakistan captain who took that sharp take. Sri Lanka lose their first wicket with just 15 on the board. Gul has simply been on a roll since returning to international cricket

Junaid's decent with the new ball. Probably a bit better with the old ball, but not bad. Irfan's better with the new ball than old, tends to lose steam towards the end. Tanvir is better with the new ball, though overall as a bowler he's not good.

Gul is better with the old ball than new ball. Usually doesn't bowl half as well with the new ball as he does with the old one. Got a wicket, but was lucky.

If Junaid and Irfan are both in the the team open the bowling with them. If like today only Junaid is, might have been better to open with Hafeez at one end for a couple of overs with Junaid.
 
single for sanga, pakistan have bowled to short here so far.
 
dilshan is in hitting mood. He will clobber anything that is not tight. What a test for our bowlers.

gul is on fire. Happy that he has solved the third seamer problem for us and we will never see this guy again :sohail

gul set him dilshan up beautifully, got the last one to swing away, and then very next ball dilshan leaves and ball comes back in :14:
 
Gul has been indifferent this morning but has taken two wickets.
 
after the out swingers , a sudden inswinger and gul has his man. Set him up nicely.
 
If we can get sanga as well then SL will be in deep trouble.
