So ... not only kamran playing for his avg. but when tries to get one ... he sucks at it?

Having a SR of 72 is quite unacceptable really, Akmal needs to move through the gears.

Not to be too cynical but I reckon he will be another in the line of dibbly dobbly bowlers or one with arms and legs flying everywhere.

thats why I think its best to get him out of the way at the top of the innings. At least he can hit a few through the off side when the field is in.
 
12 runs off this over should help ... well atleast i'd enjoy them getting 12 runs

Right, I think every player sould bow down and kiss Afridi's feet.

Am suprised we didn't get more runs, Afridi got his 85 off just 52 balls...

Probably because of how the openers played, we didnt get 330+

Absolutely. The openers batted as though they were bowling 95mph grenades at them.

We should do better now with Yasir Arafat in the side, better than samiullah and Kamran Hussain will be an interesting one, no one really knows what he is about.

I just checked Yasir's record, has an odi avg of 50 in bowling from a few match but if you look at his FC/List A record his averages are good and his strike rates of 39(FC) and 30(List A) are better than Shane Bond :O

i think nasir was getting criticized for batting too aggressively (which in my mind is absolutely stupid) so he tried to tame things down.


mr butt on the other hand .. no excuse for him .. IMO he needs to be locked up in a cage and only let out when we play india .. cuz he is useless vs anyone else

Kashif, who do you think told him to stop the aggressive approach ? As he certainly didnt look comfortable with it.

well the commies were harping non-stop about him scoring too quickly in the first two matches .. maybe the team management had similar thoughts or maybe he got wind of all the criticism directed towards him ?

anyways i didn't watch his innings today ... so i guess i can't really be sure of what went on..

well waqar said he was talking to him about it and it seemed like he was trying to show the world how his defensive technique is.
 
Nasir is 3 in one guy type ,he can slog ,he can play on the ground ,he can play long innings as well( bit dodgy to say this now but I belief that he can)
 
good recovery from pakistan, credit to afridi but in all fairness you shouldn't be 78/5 against Zimbabwe.
 
Why isnt Sohail Khan playing???

This is just a joke, playing with a player's emotion and building up hopes surely can only happen in Pakistan
