With the 2026 season approaching, here are some exciting names from each franchise that could make a real impact:

Islamabad United:

Sameer Minhas
Haider Ali

Karachi Kings:

Azam Khan – This could be his golden opportunity to stake a claim for the national T20 side, especially now that he's shed some serious weight. No more excuses!
Saad Beigh – Honestly not expecting fireworks since he's more of a longer format cricketer, but this will be a make-or-break season for him regardless.

Lahore Qalandars:

Mohammad Naeem
Haseebullah Khan – Much like Azam, a strong showing here could open the door to the national T20 squad for him.

Peshawar Zalmi:

Abdul Subhan
Ali Raza

Quetta Gladiators:

Hassan Nawaz
Shamyl Hussain
Arafat Minhas
Khawaja Nafay
Faisal Akram

Hyderabad Kingsmen:

Maaz Sadaqat
Aakif Javed

Rawalpindi:

Shahzaib Khan
Yasir Khan

Multan Sultans:

Ahmad Daniyal
Momin Qamar

My Personal Watchlist (Top 10):

Maaz Sadaqat
Sameer Minhas
Arafat Minhas
Shamyl Hussain
Shahzaib Khan
Khawaja Nafay
Faisal Akram
Ahmad Daniyal
Ali Raza
Hassan Nawaz

Who are you guys most excited to watch?

Worrying time for Karachi Kings if the best they have to offer is the sumo wrestler Azam Khan and Saad Baig who looks very average in T20 cricket.

Personally I hope Abdullah Fazal gets an opportunity for Pindiz. He has been smashing it in the National T20 again and I'd like to see what he can do at a higher level.

Saad Masood will be another player to look for. He can be effective with with bat and ball.

i wanna see someone put up their hand and really nail the death bowler slot. Naseem, Shaheen and Haris have had their go. We need the next generation to step up. Zaman Khan had a decent BBL, I want to see him play with responsibility on his shoulders and put himself back in contention for international. Same with Wasim Jr.

Ali Raza and Ahmed Danyal should be eying up some slots too.

Keeping a close eye on Farhan Yousuf. He bats in a position where Pakistan is in desperate need.
Spot on and age on his side also.

Likes of him and Kamran Ghulam can be very useful in the middle and lower middle order.

Anyone who has mentioned Shamyl Hussain and Haseebullah cannot be taken seriously. It shows you have zero batting talent awareness.

These are totally incompetent batsmen.

Hopefully Kamran Ghulam does well, we need him in the middle-order and a good PSL is the only way he can stake a claim.

Farhan Yousuf and Hassan Nawaz in middle order.

Fawad Ali or some other bowler who can crank up the pace beyond 145kph. All the current pacers have lost their pace even in T20. Was looking to see what Zaman Khan can do in the last 5 overs but he's injured so now no idea who can do that role well.

Not interested in openers or top order batters.

I have been a fan of Azam Khan since I watched him in the CPL, where he was scoring at a high strike rate even on difficult pitches. I feel he is over trolled, mostly because of his weight issues.

I generally have sympathy for players who get over trolled. I supported Shivam Dube for India. He was heavily criticised at one point but today he has earned respect because of his performances in T20 cricket. I hope Azam Khan also does the same for Pakistan and produces performances that shut down the critics. And by the way, I have mentioned many other names too. Even if you disagree with one, that’s fine.

Hasn’t played many games at the international level yet. Anyway, I am fine if someone doesn’t rate him but I should be allowed to support any player I believe can perform.

14 matches with an average of 8. If that's not enough to judge someone I don't know what is
