Will appeal to high court. But they will have to be physically in Pakistan. 30 day time limit.

Unlikely to win appeal at either high court or supreme court.

If they don't return their political career is over and even Shahbaz will find it hard to do politics. I think they will return and get arrested and cash sympathy vote.

Maryam Nawaz and captain safdar have been declared "Na Ahel" for next 10 years.
 
He was part of a group who destroy Pakistan in last 30 years. Should have at least got 30 years in prison.
 
Considering the type of voters we have, it could very well play to PML N advantage.

Though, it would only benefit Shehbaz and his family, and don't think Nawaz has much to gain since he is done with politics now.

You dont realise the kind idiots that support these criminals. But finally the rule of law has taken precedence but as i said at the start, it will be a hollow victory if all others that have stolen billions get away with it.

True but with the fines (£10m in total) and more importantly the seizing of the properties will cripple them completely.

Also, I suspect this isn't the end of it. There is still more to come in the way of corruption charges.

It's just the tip of iceberg they own in billions so millions are nothing for them.
 
Congratulations to all Pakistanis minus those who would play the moral card for a petty bread thief but have no problem crusading for these cosmic level criminals, of course it might not mark the end of PML-Goon but it's the step in the right direction.

Waiting for the "democracy is in danger" and Nawaz as Mandela mantras now.

yeah but like i said I don't think this will be the end of it.
These guys have hidden their wealth in properties and foreign accounts.
I doubt they have £10m lying in their current or savings account in Pakistan which means the moment they pay their fine they'll be opening up a further can of worms for themselves. Once the money is traced they'll have to explain how they got it etc etc

The cash fine was a brilliant idea

Many of these anchors, even the so called decent ones have taken money from PMLN. They will sell their souls for money. That's why particularly on Geo there is a somewhat apologetic, sympathetic (to Nawaz)tone in their reaction.

That's true i think that flat was worth 8m? Acording to NAB rules you pay back 200% of what you looted so that means if the flat is worth 8m you pay back 8m as fine and give back flat too
