PCB announce 15 member U17 squad for tour of England in August (2014)

Lahore July 11, 2014: Mr. Najam Sethi, Chairman PCB has approved the Pakistan U-17 team picked by the Junior Selection Committee headed by Mr. Basit Ali for the tour to England in August. The Pakistan U-17 Team will play 3- One Days and 1 -Three- Day match against England U-17 Team.

Thanks, must have been one of the worst youth tours of england looking at what happend in the first two matches. They were simply outclassed.

The identification of talent by the county boards and the ECB is very intense and thorough which means they don't miss much,whilst In Pakistan it is the exact opposite.

Ibtisam Sheikh was a reserve for this and look how far he has come! Wonder where everyone else is now? Majority of the players selected for this series I have never heard of!
