Should've been Sahibzada Farhan instead of Nawaz, but decent squad otherwise.

No Hafeez means already a good squad. Sahibzada Farhan should have been there but I think Inzi wants to see him in PSL before bringing him into national team.

Overall, a good squad.

The rubbish part is that we only have 6 specialist batsmen which means Shehzad gets a free ride unless Sarfraz is bold enough to play him higher than 7/8.

Nawaz instead of Asghar is a travesty.

1: Fakhar Zaman

5: Shoaib Malik
6: Imad Wasim
7: Amir Yameen

Good squad as Hafeez ad Wahab ignored.

16 members for 3 T20's is a lot.
Above all, why do you need 10 bowlers?

3 spinners is understandable, But, 7 seamers?

Ideally, Babar should open with Fakhar. Amin at 3. Something like:

Fakhar
Babar
Amin
Malik
Sarfraz
Yamin
Imad
Faheem
Shadab
Hasan
Amir

They pick Shehzad over Sahibzada? total whack

No Junaid? I thought he was doing quite well in his last couple of games in the T20 blast.

Umar Amin..... Again selecting a player on the basis of performance in completely different format.
Wth is Shehzad doing in the squad... Some bold decisions but some dumb decisions as well...
Overall I like this squad becoz lot of youngsters there and great to see selectors having faith in Yamin and Shinwari.

Not really!!!! When you Shehzad and unfit Shoail then dropping Hafeez and Wahab do not make any sense

More than anything else, I am happy for Sohail Khan. He literally deserved it most.
I would like him to open the innings alongside Fakhar.

Good squad. Ahmed Shehzad is the only player I wouldn't put in there but otherwise a good crop of youngsters who will undoubtedly benefit from the experience of these matches.

Glad PCB is finally following the general norm of trying new players with T20I cricket like just most countries do these days.

They are trying to build a squad for WC 2019 & 2020 in AUS. Good squad - Ahmed making it because of Sharjeel's fault; Inzi can't bring a player after 3/4 innings in a sub standard domestic List A tournament where most of PAK 1st team absent.

You would like Sohail Khan to open the innings with Fakhar Zaman?

Whatever happened to Mukhtar, I thought that guy had talent, needed to work on a few things.

solid squad, clearly looking to give youngsters some playing time in home T20Is

here hoping Shehzad doesn't get a game in

Fakhar, Babar, Malik, Sarfraz, Imad, Shadab, Amir, Hassan - these guys are locks

Rumman and Fahim are very likely too. I relly hope they go with Amin gets in over Shehzad

Sohail should get a game in there too

Yet another outstanding squad selected by Pakistan's greatest selector of all time, Inzamam ul Haq.

Would have preferred to have Junaid Khan or Hammad Azam over Sohail Khan and Umar Akmal over Umar Amin but these are minor grievances.

First 2 matches I would play this, to test the youngsters.

Fakhar
Babar
Amin
Malik
Imad
Shadab
Faheem
Sarfraz * +
Sohail
Rummaan
Usman

3rd , I would play this so that all can fulfil their wish of playing in front of their people.

Shahzad
Fakhar
Amin
Sarfraz * +
Malik
Yamin
Nawaz
Shadab
Sohail
Amir
Hassan

Perhaps they want to give as many players confidence in front of home crowd....secondly not many batsmen are needed in T20‘s because allrounder's too can give them few quick runs.

You don't need 16 members for three T20s. Especially at home. 13-14 would have been fine. Too many pacers. I would have cut out Shinwari, Yamin/Fahim and Sohail. Hope they don't get a game. Otherwise, squad is fine.

People complaining about Shehzad need to realize he scored a 50 in his last match.

I would go with this XI:
Shehzad
Zaman
Azam
Malik
Amin
Sarfraz*+
Imad
Shadab
Nawaz
Amir
Hasan

Nawaz over Raees because it's in Pakistan so probably spinning pitches.

Shehzad and Nawaz are the only two selections I'd quibble with - Shehzad's problems with strike rotation has been repeatedly exposed in internationals. Nawaz is only a threat on turning pitches.

Rest is fine, very pleased Aamer Yamin has been recalled as we need to develop some seam bowling ARs. Umar Amin has been rewarded for his Pakistan Cup performances which'll please Hawkeye.

7 seamers may seem too much but I assume there'll be lots of rotation. I'd be furious if Amir or Ali picked up a knock before our Test series vs Sri Lanka.

I would have put Harris instead of Babar to give him some match practice, rest of the squad looks ok. Babar shouldn't be playing t20s we 'll ruin him mentally if he keeps on playing t20s.

It's a great squad, only real errors are Shehzad and Sohail Khan but I doubt they will get a game anyway. Umar Akmal is not mentally stable, don't want him anywhere near Team Green. Wouldn't have minded Khan/Azam over Sohail and I'd have bought in Sahibzada Farhan over Shehzad.

Nawaz is not a bad T20 option to be fair, Shehzad needs to spend time away from our set up to work on his deficiencies. Also, Sohail Khan should not have been selected; after every over he manages to bowl the lad looks like he's ready to die!

Markhor Imagine Sahibzada and Fakhar were opening ! Too Sweet ! Farhan is on the selectors radar though I believe which is a good thing and Inzi probably wants him to get a bit more experience which is fair, only 21 years old as well. Hopefully we see him in green colours soon.

Annoying to see Shehzad selected again.

Nawaz can barely hold a bat - Asghar is a much better bowler and should've been selected instead.

Shehzad is this generation's Imran Farhat, Faisal Iqbal type player. Completely useless, flops in tournaments without any shame but first to pose in the trophy photo when we win, yet time after time he is selected again and again. Very frustrating to see.

I assume you aren't aware of his recent shenanigans.

Hafeez, Wahab, TANVIR dropped.

Yamin in. Sohail Khan in. Fahim in. Rumman, Shinwari persisted with. Umar Amin back into the mix (though wrong format tbh).

Thank you Inzi, for real. :salute

Only issue is Shehzad but hopefully he sits out.

I'd open with Babar and Fakhar. The former opened for Karachi and could do it again, rather than Shehzad.

Faisal and Farhat atleast weren't egomaniac like Shehzad (maybe thats just because social media wasn't prominent in their time)

But Shehzads dramabazi makes him a whole new level of annoying

Is there any chance that Shehzad and Nawaz have been selected because they are Sarfraz's Quetta team mates? :shezzy

Itni lambi break agayi hai cricket mein ke I don't even recognize half of these names :ibutt

No Wahab!!! Good thinking, Hafeez looked really good in the final i am quite suprised. Where is Junaid?

Decent enough selections though it's quite a big squad.Would have preferred not to see Shehzad there.

I am assuming you havent been following the news, It will be a miracle if Akmal plays for Pakistan again.

Not bad.

Removed Hafeez, Wahab, and Tanvir.

Shahzad and Amin aren't ideal but every squad has room for a blemish or two.

Since Sohail is picked at this age, I presume he'll get games; which means one of the all-rounders will miss out. I think, that's actually better, because Sohail can hit it hard for few balls, and he is a far better bowler for 4 overs. In T20, I don't think batting depth matters much, if the hitting ability isn't there. Few days back, Baber won a match for opponents chasing 130, he made probably 23 (25), and his team ended 2 short & 7 wickets at hand. He doesn't make my T20 team, but Arthur'll play him - in that case, he'll do least damage as opener.

Fakhar, Babar
Amin, Sarfraz, Malik
Shadab, Fahim/Yamin, Imad
Sohail, Amir, Hasan

If both were not out for indifferent reasons, replace Baber with his cousin & Amin with Sharjeel - this is a GUN T20 team.

Umar, Sharjeel
Fakhar, Sarfraz, Malik
Shadab, Fahim/Yamin, Imad
Sohail, Amir, Hasan

...... only but for Umar & Sharjeel :(

Sohail is picked on the basis of his performance in PSL.

Shehzad because he sucks up to everyone.

Amin because Inzi's stupid and can't differentiate formats.

Nawaz, what the hell?

Why is Shehzad in the squad? The guy always fails! Not so sure about Amin either, was woeful four years ago in the CT so needs to have made a big improvment.

Lack of options.

Sharjeel and Latif are facing bans. Kamran Akmal is...Kamran Akmal. Farhan is too young.

The only other meaningful option was Shahzaib Hasan I suppose.

This. Such a hopeless case he is.

Guys just curious would these matches have international loi status? As in the records on these would be counted in the record books or are these just exhibition matches?

Possible Playing XI

Fakhar Zaman
Umar Amin
Babar Azam
Shoaib Malik
Sarfraz Ahmad
Fahim Ashraf
Imad Wasim
Shadab Khan
Mohammad Amir
Hassan Ali
Rumman Raees

Fantastic. Young captain with dead woods being removed and an young squad announced. Hats off INZI and PCB.

Looks like PCB is hot and real in business.

On a normal day I would expect hafeez wahab Umar akmal tanvir in the playing 11 let alone be the squad.

This. Such a hopeless case he is.

I would even take Sohail Tanvir over Sorry Shehzad. Tannu is opening these days in CPL actually lol, and he is actually doing pretty good! Scored a 40 something and then next innings he was smashing it back to back.

Ofc he shouldn't be back but if we are inviting likes of Shehzad to these fun games then why not invite Ayesha aunty's son Bilal from down the street to open for us?

Sohail Khan is playing right format, he can bowl 4 overs and swing the bat happily. he is the perfect bowler for t20. nawaz is not good enough a bowler or a batsman. any player would be a better option than Shahzad. haris sohail, hussain talat, asif ali from islamabad, sahibzada farhan, asif zakir, saif badar and allrounders bilal asif, hammad azam, and maybe in place nawaz the following could be tried for left arm spinners zafar gohar, kamran ghulam or mohammed asghar, all three are better bowlers, spin the ball more and much better fielders.
and lastly where is azhar ali and hafeez

I'm very happy for Amin, but the maza has been ruined by Nawaz n Shehzad selections.

I'm really to happy to see Umar Amin making a comeback , with consistent performance in domestics. We need a player who is capable of power hitting but a classy batsman at the same time.

me too..he needs to get consistent chances at a particular position at no.4 or 3.... pak should rightly invest on young players and back them..i hope he gets to play all 3 matches and perform well..
