Last I checked he was managing IU not the Pakistan Cricket team. Therefore he is not responsible for how they perform for Pakistan. All these players performed well for IU. And the results speak for themselves. IU is the most successful PSL team. If you want to single out these players then you should single out others who play for Peshawar, Multan, Lahore, Karachi and Quetta too. Because those teams have produced just as many international-level failures.

That was a much easier decision given the two W’s and Anwar were finished. Akhtar was dropped but came back soon after as the spearhead. Also if I recall correctly we played Zimbabwe or something after the WC so it was a good time to try out new players and Malik, Hafeez etc emerged because of that.

I like the fact that he’s on the front foot, but there is a dearth of talent this time around so let’s see how long they keep Babar out of the team.

I don't think this is justice to our cricket. We should be having Malik Riaz, Mian Mansha, Sheikh Rasheed, Rana Sanaullah as our selectors.

Aleem dar is a good addition , he has an eye for talent. He is the one once said Fakhar zaman is a good batsman and I don’t see him being troubled by spin or pace after officiated in a national one day cup , this was like in 2015 if I rmb correctly and the rest is history. Pakistans only flamboyant opener in LOIs with proven track record in the last decade.
