Most ODIs have been played on flat pitches in the history of the game.

Your whinging is understandable though, because the bits and pieces "bowlers" that you have can only be effective in helpful conditions. Watch them being shown the mirror here.

Even if that was the case, it is still better to atleast be effective on some type of pitch unlike your trundlers who would get smacked even on a unplayable pitch.
